    MY SCHOOL Editing?

Has anyone explored the ability to MOD the MY SCHOOL categories? My thoughts are if there was a wider separation within the categories then that would play a larger role in recruiting. Like the Academic Prestige... I think everyone is a B or higher by default which leaves very limited separation between schools. I we did a wider separation then those players that are looking for a high academic institution would be more likely to eye those schools. Just a thought.

    Academic Prestige
    Coach Prestige
    Program Tradition
    Campus Lifestyle
    Pro Potential
    Coach Stability
    Championship Contender
    Stadium Atmosphere
    Television Exposure
    Athletic Facilities
    Conference Prestige

I've never done it but it's possible through the editor I believe. You'll have to wait until somebody who knows how reads this though lol

As the previous poster indicated, it is possible to edit these values externally. However, I believe that many of them are calculated by the game based on other factors and would likely be recalculated once the game were loaded in the console.

Some of the values I suspect are linked to other values that one could manipulate in order to have the game recalculate. For example, if you change Coaching Prestige, the game will likely recalculate it based on two or three values for each coach. Thus, if you edited those two or three values for coaches, it might result in Coaching Prestige being recalculated. If you identified the previous draft pick fields and edited those a certain way, the game would i imagine recalculate the Pro Potential field.

It may be also possible to do it, when you create a teambuilder team, edit school ratings and then get them imported into dynasty. And it seems you are limited to 12 teambuilder teams that can be imported at once.

          Athletic Facilities
          Conference Prestige
These are just static on the front end with 3-4 being dynamic based off what you/your team does during the Dynasty.

In the Tuner file (has to be offziped and repackaged) the PGII (Recruit Initial Interest) is set per 1-5 Star Recruit level within each school category.
          - there’s another Initial Interest tab the exact same but has player Positions in it.

By default Coach, Conf and Championship have 4-5 Star recruits requiring a school be “5” minimum for their interest during recruiting.
          - 1-3 Star Recruits are all in the same “0” bucket in these categories

Oddly TV Exposure and Pro Factory aren’t set as high requirements for the top Recruits.

Home Proximity is weighted as follows
          1 Star = 50%
          2 Star = 35%
          3 Star = 15%
          4/5 Star = 5%

So you can edit Schools (outside of this method) with the Editor and control some of the decision making of the Recruits to be a little more in-line with reality.

Another thing is to edit the Coach’s Tree and set Coach Progression to “Slow” that will have an impact.
          - teams like W. Kentucky give all their Coaches “1” point.
          - HC in the Recruiting phase now can’t compete with better schools

So there are some things you can do.

You can also edit recruits' # to commit (total points needed to commit) and pitch importance to sway things. I aligned all the conferences by geography, mass edited all team interest points below 10 and then made every recruit's Pitch Importance #1 "Proximity to Home" in the pre-season. The results of where top recruits landed were very interesting, to say the least.

That's a pretty cool idea. I might have to try that one.
