I have heard of ppl not being able to get on at all, and then ppl who play games for them to not count afterwards.

I had 2 games that I played that did not register. After the games ended the game stats screen comes up then when I go to exit I get a cannot connect to server.

It's a shame the Madden team has to spend time fixing their broken code. That takes time away from implementing all the "live service" features that have been promised for this development cycle. Which was already taking time away from new features being developed for next year's game.

It's hard to stop the dominos from falling after the process has started.

My friends and I have nit Bern able to log in in Our Franchise since last thursday. Either there will be a message that I cant connect to the Server or it will stay on the loading screen.
But I've been able to create New online cfm's and can connect to them.

My Online Franchise won’t load at all. It either stays on the loading screen or gives me a message saying the EA Servers are down.

First, your comments are valid. I don't want my response to seem like it's trying to invalidate your criticism.

I've been in the software business since the mid 80's. My first job was doing simulations of hardware that didn't even exist yet (at a clock level), going just by the schematics. That is making one computer appear as a completely different kind of computer, so that the compiler, linker, application programmers had something to test their code on before their hardware was even built.

Currently I do business ERP software, system and network administration.

My criticism is more on the direction of Franchise and the extreme lack of depth, not so much on this kind of stuff (as irritating as it can be).

Now, your criticism is valid, but from personal experience, I know how difficult it can be to track some things down (especially the ones that are dependent on timing and very difficult to reproduce). Anything that requires real time/timing can be very difficult to reproduce. Network traffic, or multiple threads/tasks that require timing (ADA - DOD language - called them rendezvous)

So I personally give EA a bit of a break on stuff like this. Not so much of a break on other things. But this I do.

It effects my league still. When I try to load it, it just stays loading and eventually I have to just turn off my PS4. Two days before that I just alerted me that it would be gated for maintenance.
