Why can you still not challenge plays?

This has been an issue for years. Too often there is a play that needs to be challenged and yet, there is no ability to challenge.

You can't challenge touchdowns. And I don't know if the new int challenge rule is in madden or not.

All scoring plays are reviewed by the booth. Been that way for a few yrs now in the NFL.

Uh - if it is not ruled a touchdown and I believe I had feet inbounds I am challenging the play. Therefore I am challenging the touchdown. I know the rules of the NFL.

There is not a single play you can challenge in this game and makes no sense.

Let’s just say that if the game won’t review it, it wasn’t going to be overturned. Imagine your booth guy told you not to because it likely wouldn’t be reversed, and move on.

They should just remove the “feature” because it is dumb as hell.

Most of the time, it’s a turnover, a score, or in the last X minutes of the half, and all these ultra sim Madden guys do t understand the rules, that those are booth reviews and can’t be challenged.

The number of times you can’t review a legitimate call is so rare that it has less impact than all the terrible reviews in real life. You want that, too, reviews to be blatantly wrong, just like on Sundays?

EA should just remove the reviews altogether. It is such a waste of time, and it only agitates gamers.

Oh yes. Let's take out MORE features in the game. Let's take out things that have been in the game generations of consoles ago. Let's make this thing so far away from the actual game of football. That sounds like a wonderful idea

The review system needs a whole rework and has needed it for so long. I had a pick against Aaron Rodgers where BOTH feet were out of bounds when it was intercepted by Kyle Fuller. I obviously couldn't challenge cause it's supposed to automatically review each turnover but it obviously doesn't.

Well, it wouldn’t. If game called X, and did not trigger a review, then how could you possibly think it would have reversed the call?

Don’t really understand how anyone thinks challenges are fun or interesting. They are just canned sequences that take too long, and can only ruin the experience, not improve it.

on a 3rd and goal I challenged the spot of the ball,I lost but was able to challenge it so im not sure if theres a specific scenario youre talking about

A couple of things here. To the guys that said the original play was not reviewable you are wrong. If it is called a touchdown on the field obviously you can't challenge it because the booth does it automatically, BUT if it is not called a touchdown then it is 100% a reviewable play.

The problem here is the challenge in madden is broken. Ive paused the game atleast 4-5 times already to challenge a play that 100 percent needed to be challenged. Madden hasn't had a working challenge system since ps2.

The challenge system in 2k5 was a lot better than current madden is. Yes i agree with others it needs to be done again. Plenty of times i see in replays legit only one foot inbounds on a catch play but when i challenge it then it doesn't get overturned
