Legacy of Chase Austin: A Football Life

    Overview:
This will be a legacy mode following the career of Chase Austin from high school, to college, to NFL, and then back to college to for a coaching career. To make for something different, I'll be utilizing several NCAA games to rewrite history from 2004 through the present.

    Structure:
I played out the high school playoffs on NCAA 11 RTG to determine what school offered my player a scholarship. Reason for this is I had an initial plan of starting this legacy in 2010, but was feeling nostalgic and wanted to utilize some of the classics. So I already had played out the games and had reports and didn't want it all to go to waste. Since it's big gap in years between 2010 and 2004 team needs may be different, so I made sure school I chose that there wasn't a stud quarterback already on the team. For each NCAA Season I'll be using real name roster found on Operation Sports.

College Player Career: I will be doing everything in dynasty mode and although recruiting doesn't matter since every season game will be changing, it will be set to cpu assisted, and I can't mess with schedule. Will roll with what is given. I will play offense only, and use cpu vs cpu mode while on defense and special team plays.
    NCAA 2005 PS2: 2004, Freshman Year,
    NCAA 2006 PS2: 2005, Sophomore Year
NCAA 2007 PS2: 2006, Junior Year, If Austin will be apart of draft class, I'll enter draft on Madden 2007.
NCAA 2008 PS2: 2007, Senior Year, If needed.. If enters draft, Austin will enter draft in Madden 2008.

Pro Career: I'll either be using Madden 2007 or Madden 2008 on the PS2 depending on what draft class my player is apart of. I will stick with that game throughout Austin's professional career. Same as NCAA, I will play offense only, and use cpu vs cpu while on defense and special team plays.

    College History Re-Write: 2004-Present
I'll be documenting and keeping track of statistics, awards, National Champions and Conference Champions along the way of this Legacy Career Mode.
I will have no control of a team during the time while my player is in the NFL, I'll put everything on cpu assist and simulate seasons and just be documenting end of season reports.
    NCAA 2009 PS3- 2008 Season
    NCAA 2009 PS3- 2009 Season
    NCAA 2011 PS3- 2010 Season
    NCAA 2012 PS3- 2011 Season
    NCAA 2012 PS3-2012 Season
    NCAA 2014 PS3- 2013 Season and beyond

Coaching Career: I will be using NCAA 14 on the PS3 for Austin's coaching career. Upon retiring from the NFL, he will enter the coaching carousel looking for a offensive coordinator position to begin his college coaching career. Once I get to the coaching part of the legacy, I will update this post with sliders, and recruiting house rules. Once I am into NCAA 14, I'll do some conference realignment and have 6 power conferences, and will also be implementing a 8 -Team playoff that will have the 6 power conference champions locking in and 2 at-large bids.

Disclaimer: I will not be playing every game, especially ps2 versions with no super sim. Also Don't expect much on the side of reporting after every game in length, as I know I will burn myself out pretty quick with descriptive reports. I want to keep it short and sweet. I'll start off doing box scores and some stats of each game with maybe a few sentences summarizing what went on with the game. During the player part of the legacy, I'll focus most the reporting on my player. Games that are close and big games will most likely be more in-depth. I'll have Top 25, conference leaders at the time, and Heisman watch updates every so often during the season. But I will do full season previews and post season reports.

Looks like you settled on a pretty cool plan. I like the idea of 're-writing' history using the older games in the series, especially if you have rosters for each. Will be following!

Editor Note: Restarted this legacy with picking Florida St instead of Tennessee from list of schools that offered scholarships at end of high school career.

Settled down after a little bit of a sloppy start, but a very solid win none the less over Clemson.

Yea I was shocked that Clemson couldn't do anything, but it explains their now 0-4 record and being near the bottom in rankings in all categories.
