So who is deleting The Show 18?

Now that 19 is upon us and everyone has had a chance to get into it.

Those who have made the jump, are you or have you deleted 18 and committed to 19 now

I will probly when I wake up tomorrow morning, everything seems to be OK and no reason to keep both for me.

I deleted it last week, when I realized I had not played The Show in about a month and 19 was around the corner. I never go back versions....I go all in on the new version always.

I deleted it weeks ago.


Although I still have 17 installed since that is where all my RTTS players are. I could not bring myself to bring them into 18 with the archetypes and the level caps.

The Show 18 played a pretty awesome game of baseball offline. Online head-to-head was where the gameplay issues showed, like the nerfed contact hitters and things like that.

I will be keeping 18, skipping 19, and hoping 20 offers more in the way of enhancements to Franchise.

I'm not deleting it because I have plenty of space, but I also have no need to ever play it again. 19 is really good.

I will be keeping 18, skipping 19, and hoping 20 offers more in the way of enhancements to Franchise.

I’ve been playing the show 15 since it dropped. None of the newer ones worked for me. Would I be smart to buy 18 since it’s all patched and stuff now? I play offline franchise. Also, are the osfm rosters still available

The OSFM rosters should still be in the vault for 18.

I mean, it's entirely up to you about getting 18 vs. 19. Sounds like 19 does have some nice gameplay updates and things, but has some early issues that could/should get patched going forward.

As far as only playing offline franchise, 18 and 19 will be about the same, save for the ability to extend contracts in season and have "real" contracts (both of which are only in 19). I personally do not see the need to upgrade to 19, due to the fact that Franchise is essentially the same. The updates to 19 aren't that big of a deal to me, and also seem to be throwing off the in-mode economy.

How is hitting in 18? In 19 I’m finding every hit feels like weak contact.

I had no issues with offline hitting in The Show 18, personally.

I own both and will finish my franchise season in 18 (about 100 games) while waiting for the 19 patches to come out. Another reason I'm going to wait is that my 18 game is configured just the way I like it and I really enjoy playing it.

19 is still shrink wrapped although that could change... :-)

Never. I didn't have a stacked team or anything, but I put a lot of work into getting some of my favourite players. Plus the Will Clark in 18 is a hell of lot better than the one in 19.

I have far too many great classic rosters on 18 that won’t transfer to 19.

Will still be playing 18 concurrently with 19. Its that great of a game.
