Is There a Reason We Can't Edit Wingspan?

This thread isn't meant to be a criticism, but just an honest question. I love 2K19 and I think they did a great job with all the player models that I've seen so far. I noticed that they don't have edit wingspan (and haven't in a couple years), but did have it in 2K16.

Is there a reason they don't allow users to edit that? Like is wingspan tied to the individual player models now? Or is there a bug if you change it?

My hopes are they could patch it in at some point, though honestly its not as big of a deal now that they seem to be paying more attention to player bodies with the out of the box game. I was just curious though if that would even be possible.

What?! Seriously?? Man, if this is true, it's always one step forward and one step backward with 2K. Why would they remove customizability? Grrrrrrr

Edit: You can still edit wingpan for CAPs. That's okay.

If you're asking about editing after making your player, two reasons:

      1. It changes your attributes, so changing it after would really change many things about your player.

To clarify, I'm just referring to editing the roster, existing NBA players. I know in MyCareer wingspan effects attributes, so that makes sense that you can't just arbitrarily change it in that mode.

But I don't think that wingspan affects attributes in quick play (unless it does, which would kind of makes sense why you can't change it, though you could just make everyone a 99 overall if you wanted to).

Educated guess: Something problematic on the development end.
Educated guess #2: Something about the feature is being re-worked.
