Standard Edition buyers: how have your nerves been these four days?

Honestly, I've been chomping at the bit. I deleted 18 a few days ago to make room. I've stayed away from party chats of friends who bought the LeBron Edition. Lmfao it was seriously so hard to get through these last four days. I really hope they only have one release day next year. This was brutal.

Lol it's been a little rough...I feel your pain. The way i've been dealing with it is coming on here to see what's going on and playing battlefield V beta to keep busy. As far as the release day, yh i'm really not a fan of this kind of move. It makes things seem like a money grab. Imo they could have just gave more bonus stuff for the anniversary edition and just made the game available early for all pre orders for both editions. That said, can't wait for tonight though!

Sensational. Absolutely great marketing by TakeTwo. I used to think $60 was outrageous, but it seems a tad less outrageous now. I'm still only gonna spend $51 at the most. #DontGetFinessed

Let me tell you something. This has been an experience for me. I'm used to buying this on Day 1 since 2K9, then help answer question and give my impressions. Feels like a "void" was created within me since I didn't get the game early, lol. Having said that...I'm never going to pay more just to get the game early.

Nerves are frayed. But I was never going to pay above the regular price. The older I get the more I realize the value of patience. Tonight will be fun though, and I’m very tempted to take the day off.

I bought the standard edition for $20 using amazon discounts but I must admit I almost caved in and went to go buy the legendary edition at Best Buy. If it weren’t for the 2k glitches I would have bought two 2ks

My nerves have been fine. I've been playing Spider-man so I really don't feel like I missed out on any 2K time. Originally, I wanted to punish 2k for this weak move bu holding off on buying it until Black Friday (or more realistically the start of the regular season).... but, after all of the positive impressions, I went ahead and pre-ordered the standard edition digitally for release day #noselfcontrol

I've been so busy this weekend that I barely noticed. That's one, of many, reasons I didn't buy the the anniversary edition. It's not worth $40 for the 3-4 hours I would've actually been able to play it.

That being said, I'm eager to get my hands on it tonight.

Lmao I'm just buggin about what to build. I don't want to invest VC early until I know what's good but I also wanna get in there and play online asap

How is it? I gotta get that game too.

I'm too dang old to get that excited about any game. I didn't even get around to buying last year's NBA 2K until 4 weeks after release. Last week I pre-ordered the standard version for PC on Steam just cause my wife and kids will be out of town the second half of this week, so I'll have plenty of 'Me' time to get into it.

I don't think I've gotten overly excited about any game since probably Diablo 3, so over 5 years ago.
