There are 4 teams, (I believe), of Legends and Alumni players available for a few modes. No franchise though. And you can't assign them to the team of your choice. You're stuck using these pre-made teams. There are a bunch of other legends and alumni available in 3s as well. In total, as of right now, there are 206 of these classic players in the game. It seems like EA wanted the main focus of the legends to be in HUT mode.Proud GIANTS fan for over 30 years.Comment

I feel misled about the legends in nhl 19. Tried editing rosters offline as soon as i got the game just to find nowhere to add legends to the current rosters. I know most people don't care about this kinda stuff anymore, but i was really looking forward to this optionComment

Yep it’s a joke. Totally misleading the way EA advertised it. Offline legends are useless. You can’t create teams from yesteryear with them. True you can with the create a player feature. But how annoying that guys like Gretzky, Lemieux, Roy have already been created by EA but we can’t put them on our created teams offline.Comment

I wouldn't have bothered wasting the $60 on nhl 19 if i knew how this was gonna go. Thats ok, lesson learned, will just stay away from EA altogetherComment

We could put legend players in offline rosters in the past (of what very few legends at a time are in a certain game that year) and I'm still waiting for missing vintage jerseys that EA has not decided on updating since NHL 09. Will not buy EA hockey for the second straight year.Comment
