I noticed playing against Cleveland that they lined up in that crazy formation and audibled back into a regular formation before the snap. Made me appreciate the improved A.I. and play calling.

In madden its out of shotgun. Called Monster Stack, I believe. I added it to a few of my playbooks.

I didn't play Madden 18 a whole lot last year so this may be an old thing...but I was watching a game between the Panthers and Steelers...the Panthers hit a big play and when it cut to the huddle a couple of the Steelers players were arguing with each other. One player tried to put his hand on the angry players shoulder and the angry player pushed it off. I thought that was cool. It fit the situation.

I haven't caught it yet, but had a friend watch me play the other day. He noticed that players don't step through the ball. Instead it's kicked around. Which is nice for a change.

The animation where the running back gets blown up with a hit but keeps his footing while falling backwards is pretty satisfying. Im liking the lil animations that are added def adds to the realism

I like how defenders can jump up and deflect passes on deep streaks now. Last night I had a blitzing safety jump up and bat down my pass at the LOS. It was cool to see that. Also love the fact if a defender land a glancing blow on you, you don't immediately fall down, instead you lose your balance and stumble a few yards. Pushing the pile as a ball carrier is pretty awesome to do and see as well.

You know, there's still quite a bit of suction tacking with the new RPM system... but it really is satisfying to see some of the stronger RBs push and fight for extra yardage when they get hit.

Also, one of my team celebrations was a fake lightsaber battle with the receiver who scored the TD force-pushing his teammate down to the ground. I really got a kick out of that one.

That celebration was a real life one that Julio & Justin Hardy did a few years back. Cool to know some real life ones made it in.

I was having a great game on defense, and late in the game they showed a video montage of some of the better defensive plays throughout the game, meanwhile the commentary was praising the way my defense had played up to that point.

Pretty cool.

No pic, but if you zoom high enough past the jumbotron at New Era field you can actually see the gates were fans walk in the parking lot.

Was playing the Eagles vs Jaguars game while it loaded to my system and one play that stood out was Alshon beat Ramsey on a deep ball and instead of giving up on the play Ramesy placed an arm bar on Alshon and drew the Defensive pass interference.
