I should have done this earlier, but never too late. Just remember You won't get answered if it is fixed or still there, but you may help BETA testers to get feedback to EA.

As there is limited time for BETA testers try to be specific.

Also this is NOT a Complain thread, just figured it would be a way to make Community work together. So don't post if that is your agenda.

Oh, and if games with retractable roofs can be played in both open or closed configuration in CFM....figured I'd ask before JayD asks

Check on player Regression in CFM. Maybe sim forward 5 years and see what some of the top guys are doing.


Check to see if it is a blanket "-2" for a ton of stats every year for guys once they hit 30 yrs old.


Check on the Salary Cap in 5 years and 10 years to see if it is raising at a consistent level like it does in real life. It has been increasing by about $10 mill every season recently in real life.


Check to see how much players want from contracts, like Wentz, Dak, Rodgers, etc... to see if it is more in line with real life demands.

I’ve never really been into adjusting Gameplay Sliders, but I know this area could stand to have some of its issues put forward up the team.

Again, not my area I normally deal with so be as detailed as possible to make it easier to focus in on what should be looked at.

Camera angles specifically field goal cam. The ball never gets to the top of the goal posts, only reaches the middle even on short kicks. Looks totally unrealistic. Also can the scoreboard be removed or just moved from the top of the screen.

-Player Models and how the player models look for CFM 5 years into it. How do the rookies come out from CPU Generated Draft Classes?
-Does the Defenders (Linebackers or Secondary) when in a Zone just sit 10 yards away and don't react when the QB starts scrambling, when the offense runs 4 Verts and/or Deep Routes? It happens when playing Ranked in 18 and Defenders just sit and let the QB run close to a first down before reacting.
-When playing Defense, does clicking the Right Joystick Down still send the QB Spy to attack the QB?

-Are post routes from the Slot still Overpowered?

Is there better distribution of passing traits amongst quarterbacks who are generated in the draft.

For example over the last few years, almost every drafted quarterback would have the "Ideal" trait for forces passes and senses pressure. All of the various combinations for the traits should appear more often.

Do CPU teams do a better job of managing their quarterback depth.

CPU teams will draft over a first round draft pick QB in the next draft with another QB in the first round the next draft if the first QB is not a Superstar or is below an 80 OVR ruining the development of one of those QBs

Also teams will eat up too much cap to bring in 35+ year old vet QBs to be the starter or backup when they have cost effective young guys who are just as good.

Do defensive linemen sometimes stay locked in a tango with an olineman at the LOS when the ball carrier is behind them and they should just turn and pursue him.

Do defensive backs(non User controlled) still sometimes go for interceptions, (instead of swatting or hitting the receiver), when they are behind the receiver and have zero chance of getting the ball.

Can the CPU generate an effective run game on default All-Pro, if no, then why not.

Is it too many insheds by the dline, are the running backs going east-west too much, or not properly utilizing the RB moves.


Does the CPU call better situational defensive plays

For example on third and long or at the end of halves do they still call too many cover zero blitz allowing the User to get easy one on one match ups for first downs or touchdowns.

Ability to Open / Close roofs in CFM. Either by the User pre game or weather automatically determining.

I've experimented with almost all of the stuff mentioned so far, its so hard not to give answers! but this is a good idea for a thread and I'd encourage people to keep giving suggestions to the closed beta testers. always keeping my eyes open for another bug to report.

Are you basing this on Madden 18 or do you have the beta? There isn’t supposed to be any impressions on the beta posted here, just trying to clarify.

Is coach mode ( auto pass/ run on offense AND no user controlled players on defence) working properly on defence? Or does the highlighted defender stand motionless until in close proximity to an opponent ?

Is it possible to edit ' years in league ' inside ( or outside ) CFM ? This would really help roster editors and make accurate PS possible
