For those not familiar with myself or my work, I have developed a system over the past several years that can generate accurate player model ratings for any NBA player based on their statistical results. Professional tools of the trade are used to create these results, along with my experience working within the game industry for twenty years combined with college level education in econometrics and analytics, you know you're getting the real deal. For more information on that system, I refer you to the thread: https://forums.operationsports.com/f...h-ratings.html
It is extremely important to play with the sliders from our Sportscrunch team for the best results. If you have feedback about these rosters, but you have not been playing with the provided sliders, we can not vouch for the results.

Also credit to Woody for the use of his shot signatures.
Feel free to ask us questions or provide feedback. Transparency about the process is very important to us. I'll try to keep a running Q&A below.
Why are the overall rating values so low across the board?
This is merely a side effect of the way that the overall system works in NBA 2K. The emphasis of our way of doing rosters is the removal of bias. It's tempting to evaluate players based on what we've seen on highlight reels on SportsCenter or what some analyst may have reported through the media about a particular player, but the end result is a caricature of a player rather than the actual player himself. So, what you're seeing here is based on nothing but the actual results of the player's performance in official NBA games. The superstars still stand out, significantly in many cases, because of the accuracy of the tendencies which don't get calculated into the overall.
