Shooting consistency - wired vs WIFI?

This may be a dumb question. Has anyone moved from a Wifi connection to a wired Ethernet and noticed more consistent shooting results?

I did four years ago. I usually can figure out the speed in 2-3 shots. But when I was wireless. It was all over the place. But the thing was I forgot I set it up wireless. But I haven't had a problem since. As a career IT person I felt I should of noticed it soon lol.

It could very well be a placebo effect, but I feel that I shoot noticeably better as far as timing is concerned since I moved to a hard wired connection.

its not just your connection being wired. It's also your ping. which is something you can only some what control.

now as long as that ping, and your data transfer rates stay close to the same while you play. you will eventually figure out how delayed it is and when to push the button. the problem comes in like what Jeebs said. if your connection is all over the place. then its going to make it that much harder to find that proper timing since it keeps changing.
