Kenflo is retired and Mike Perry isn’t good enough. Kunitskaya hasn’t even fought yet and doesn’t need to be added as there is no FW div in the game.

I’d be happy with that list of fighters being added. Anyone else would just be a bonus for me. Also cosmetic updates to some of the current fighters are definitely need.

If he doesn't resign with the WWE he may be possible. But he fought at UFC 200 but still wasn't able to make it into EA UFC 2 because he was signed to the WWE.

As for who are the patch fighters. I would guess Covington and Perry are locks. Maybe two more, probably one WMMA fighter like Yana K.. Thiago Santos and Lobov are also possibilities as they were listed on the original roster but removed for some reason.

Mike Perry is better than Erik Silva
Cyborg is in the game so I don't see why not add kunitskaya
And Matt Hughes is in the game and rampage who doesn't even fight for UFC is in
Also Nick Diaz who was retired 2 years ago is in and he was never UFC champ

I just named 5 reasonable fighters I know people will pick because I wouldn't want fighters nobody picks

None of those are really good points at all. There's a couple people in the game that have been retired longer than Kenny. Perry is an extremely popular fighter regardless of his recent losses, and was probably one of the first new character models they made.

Kunitskaya is a bantamweight that's moving up for Cyborg like Evinger did. They should both be in the game eventually.

Lesnar. Make it happen. And make him fast and explosive, at least at the start of a fight. He was so slow in UFC 1

The people that retired were in previous versions of EA UFC so they required no additional work. The dev team would have to make Florian and I would prefer that they create new fighters instead of retired non legends.
