Clear path violations NEED to be in the game.

Too many times in walk on or team pro am if we get a rebound and have numbers, the opposing team can foul the big as he's coming down for a rebound while attempting to advance the ball.

Even times the ball is advanced half court and they can foul to prevent the easy basket. Couple this with SIX seconds in the paint the lanes are forever clogged to where this can happen SEVERAL times in a game. It's putrid. It's ugly.

This, the high offensive rebound frequency, the long rebounds to shooters who just missed, the time outs during loose ball situations, dribblers morphing through defenders, it's all so ugly.

Through ALL of that we can somewhat stomach.

A foul during a break NEEDS to yield 2 free throws and the ball back to the offense.

They were in the game in the past. Are they not there anymore ? I haven’t seen 1 all year not that you mention it.

Off topic but I just want 3 seconds to be called lol.

The problem was the rule change. It use to be if there was a scoring chance. Now it's if the defender is behind the ball or in front of it. Which makes if very hard to see one.

I don't see why the NBA change the rule from what it was.

You have to look at the situation. Is the ball behind or in front of the last defender. If there is a defender it won't be called.

It is. The ball has to be in front of the last defender for it to be called, but I have seen it called.

I’ve gotten these in PNO. Just as recently as this past weekend. It is in the game.

They replay instant review the clear path fouls.

I haven't had a problem with clear path fouling in this game. But I also rarely remember even trying to foul a fast-breaker.

Oh I know they review it.

It just that the new rule doesn't make sense. The point of the clear path foul rule is so that defense doesn't take away what's going to be a basket. But you could say the same for a 2 on 1. Just my opinion here.

It's in the game. It's just that the rule is weirder.

It's becoming a thing recently. If you haven't played a team like this, they'll be coming more and more frequently, I promise. We lost to a team that did this almost every time we had numbers.

I can't imagine playing in my park or pro-am. It's a smart play. But it's how the rule works that make it so effective. If it was the original rule. Most situations would be a clear path foul without a doubt.

While on the subject of rules ... Let me hear y’all justify the (lack of) three second calls in pro am now lol

Check out this 3 second call

Also I've never seen a 5 second back to the basket violation., plus Kick Ball violations are called completely wrong, its only called if the ball is intentionally kicked which isn't possible in 2k18.
