I just had him unlocked i didnt even know he was a locked character so that is really weird.

Can confirm this works. I had two rounds and played Boetsch so it doesn't count.

You'll hear Joe Roan's "I LOVE IT!!" when the decision is called to confirm you've done it.

spinning body kick KO with gsp in knockout mode do sudden death. once it hits the post fight menu you should hear rogan shout " I LOVE IT"

I have now on normal difficulty using perfect spinning kicks to the body to win both rounds L1 L2+R1+O with only snoop dog commentary then i used snoop with rogan and still did not get Rogan unlocked in any mode so there still has to be something else specific and why did someone else say they have not even played knockout mode and unlocked Rogan.
I would be surprised if there was more than one way to do it.

Yeah, it's not only doable in KO mode, that's just the easiest.

It's hard to believe when it's about something so great. The powerful Joe Rogan, unlockable in EA UFC 3.

Well, it's true. I promise you this. I did it last night, my methods were this;

Knockout mode, set it to sudden death so it's quick. I followed the trend and picked GSP and fought Robbie Lawler. I beat Robbie up until he had one single bar left. I then timed my strike and hit LB+LT+RB+B (L1+L2+R1+Circle) this is the spinning back kick to the body and Robbie dropped in defeat. Once you hit the post fight screen, you'll hear a feint scream from Rogan, something along the lines of "AHHHHHHHHHH! I LOVE IT!"

And you are done. You have achieved the ultimate goal of UFC 3. The reason this game was made. To unlock and use the great and powerful JOE ROGAN in the Welterweight Division. Do this, unlock him. The only thing I ask you to do now is pay it forward by using him online, in ranked and WINNING.
