Re: Team Defensive Ratings
2. They rate highly in-game because LeBron's defensive ratings (96 On-Ball, 80 Low-Post, 96 PnR, 93 Help, 97 Pass Perception, 95 Shot Contest) are still rated like it's 2013.
3. Jae Crowder (a shade under LeBron's ratings) has been terrible.
4. I have the Cavs at 22nd defensively in my roster, just sayingNBA 2K25 Roster: Real 2K Rosters - Modern Era

Re: Team Defensive Ratings
Cavs have ALOT of overrated players on the team when it comes to non offensive ratings.Comment

Re: Team Defensive Ratings
Channing Frye is their #1 ranked defensive real plus-minus player and even he's like 110th in the league or so.
They can't defend at all because they are old, slow, too small, or just don't try but the Cavs will suck if you rate them properly because the superstar effect on a team doesn't exist in 2k.Comment

Re: Team Defensive Ratings
I believe the only guys on the team with a + defensive box plus minus are Shumpert, LeBron, and Wade. Yeah, 2K's defensive ratings are way off. The Cavs are a horrible defensive team due to having the three worst defensive PG's in the league, no rim protector, and poor communication. Ty Lue doesn't even run practices. Their P&R defense is atrocious, and they are old.
The rankings in general are off. Philly is ranked over Toronto for example as a team.Comment
