    Your biggest upset..

I’m in Year19 of my Coach mode dynasty.
Defending BCS Champs Penn State (5-0; 97) at home versus Maryland (0-6; 81)

Two pick 6’s off my 99 QB AND a FR for TD put me in a 31-7 hole late in 2nd Q.

We rally to tie at 31 with 3:34 left in the 4th.

They get the ball, move it to my 34 where they hit a 33 yard all-vert with us in Cover 2 man. They score with :31 left.

Lose 38-31. By bye BCS as we go from #1 to #15.

Tough to swallow - using Matt10 sliders and PocketScouts recruiting rules, last years Natty was my FIRST, so losing this chance for a title sucks!!!

I’d love to hear some other horror stories - might make me feel better!

I was playing as a mediocre UNC team in 2019. We won the division with some memorable games, ending the season with an 8-4 record and had to go up against FSU 12-0 in the Conference Championship game. Surprisingly we got the upset over them winning by two touchdowns (forgot the exact score).

Heading into the Orange Bowl we face Cincinnati who was the highest ranked group of 5 team. Needless to say, they absolutely destroyed us 34-14. I wouldnt say its the biggest upset, but an upset i wasnt expecting going in that game

      Your biggest upset..

My third year, 2018 at Minnesota, we ran into an unranked Houston team. We were ranked 15. They already upset a team the previous week but I️ had no fear that we’d be able to take them out. My sophomore QB had everything working and we were up 24-7 at half. I️ figured the second half we could run the ball and put this thing on cruise control.

Second half comes and my running game can’t get going. A few four and outs, and a costly fumble by my freshman receiver led Houston to a huge back and they took a 28-24 lead. I️ scored in the middle of the 4th making it 31-28, but their stud RB answered with a 53 yard to of his own, and they retook the lead 34-31, failing in the two point conversion. With a game winning drive in mind, my QB had a wide open receiver. But with his low accuracy he led him too far and threw a late pick. Houston wound up scoring an unnecessary TD late (which set up a rematch storyline for the next season), and they won 41-31. My defense gave up 301 yards to their RB, who was unstoppable the entire second half. It was the start of a 3 game slide for my Gophers.

Year 3 of a Washington State dynasty. It was opening weekend, I was ranked 10th, I wanna say, coming off a 10-3 campaign where we won the Holiday Bowl. I had lost my previous two openers, but they were to Auburn in Jordan-Hare, and Wisconsin in Camp Randall.

        Enter the Ohio Bobcats.

We played them in Athens. The game was back and forth the whole night, with them usually staying ahead. In the final minute, we tie the game up at 35. Then, with 10 seconds to go, they throw a streak route, my CB runs past the receiver, who catches it and runs in for the score, as we lose 42-35. One of my most devastating losses in NCAA 14.

My Biggest upset would have to be this game right here

I was Arkansas State and wasn’t really favored. But I felt my team matched up well and I thought I’d run away with the win. But EA had different plans and K-State embarrassed me which is why I eventually left Arkansas State and now am in my first year coaching K-State after they fell on hard times the year after and fired their coach

Biggest upset I had was my first ever game with my Little Rock Trojans teambuilder. Their overall, off, def was like 71,70,68 or something close to that, so a cupcake team. I wanted it to be realistic-ish. We started the season against Fresno State in the rain at home. The game went back and forth and defenses stayed on the bus. FSU took the lead 52-49 with about 1:49 left to play. UALR drives down to around the 25 with 0:04 left. We throw a hail mary that's caught by our guy in the endzone. 55-52. 1-0 to start the season.

Playing my UALR dynasty years later #2 in coaches and #1 in AP Texas A&M lost to FCS Southeast in Week 2 38-31 when I was advancing weeks.

My biggest upset would have to be playing as Marshall and going against the CPU controlled Fighting Irish. We were down by 4 points late in the game and had one last shot at winning the game with no time outs on about the 30 yard line of the Fighting Irish. With 20 seconds left I knew I had a couple plays left even if I didn't get out of bounds. I was able to connect on a 20 yard strike to bring it to about the 10 yard line and managed somehow on a QB scramble to get into the endzone and pull off the 3 point upset. I believe at the time I was 1-3 and the Irish were 4-0. The rest of the season did not go well but at least we had that victory.

FCS team downed Georgia in my just completed 2018 nat'l championship season at Auburn.
Honestly? never thought the AI/CPU would allow that monumental of an upset.

In year one of my online dynasty, my Houston team went 11-3 with a heartbreaking loss in the conference championship game to the guy that would be the eventual national champion. I went into year two ranked weirdly high -- my team was top-10 very early on. My first two games of the season, against UTSA and Texas Tech, were pretty comfortable (if high-scoring) wins. By the time game 3 rolled around, I was #6. All I had to do was beat Rice, and I'd be going into the conference schedule undefeated. And then the wheels fell off.

I don't know what it was. Kyle Allen threw 4 bad INTs. I had more drops than I could count. Rice's RB turned unstoppable, and their OL was impenetrable. I wound up getting obliterated by a score of something like 56-35.
