Best/Fastest Way to Earn VC?

What do you guys do to earn VC fast without paying for it. I mean I see guys strolling around with 85+ Overalls and I'm sitting at a 72 without spending a penny on the game minus buying itself. It seems like I'm lucky if I get 800 VC after every game, and that just isn't enough really when trying to get upgrades once you get higher overall. Any tips? Minus Git Gud haha

Id say play other modes but they dont even give out vc when you play MLO games lol.

What I do...is I pay for the $10 VC package, if I am playing with a player that requires ratings to even be able to matter. You can get away with grinding a Rebounding Archetype and level up fast.

But yeah, I play until I get my guy to at least a couple silver badges and then pay the 50...

Cause you gonna be an 85 and have to grind anyway....at least when Ima be able to upgrade to an 87 or 88 instead of the 85.

Outside of paying for it you just gotta keep playing. I don't see a special way to earn tons of VC in the game. But to pick up extra VC, log into the app everyday although it isn't much. Watch 2K tv and answer the questions. Do the game picks everyday. Do the trivia game. That should get you a little extra but honestly you just gotta put in the hours or cough up the money.

If you can stomach playing with other people I'd say Walk-On Pro-Am is the fastest way. Good grade and a Win is 1,200 VC(not counting additional VC via stats) you earn about 1/6(Horrible teammate grade) to 1/3-ish if you lose and it's only 30 min long games. Park isn't too rewarding imo and I personally don't like shortening the MyCareer NBA experience to 5 minute quarters unless you can really dominate the AI.

Most people just huck up threes the whole time haha, but yeah I played it the other night and it was real fun, dealt with some lag of course because I'm on WIFI but yeah I'll try that out, thanks

There are many good ways to earn VC easily. For example, the most lucrative task you can perform for VC is a MyCareer NBA game, you can earn 1000 VC per game. The latest news said the bug of the Play Now Online mode is fixed now, you can earn upwards of 500 VC rewards for playing the games.

Even if pro am earns you the highest amount of VC and let's say its 1200 a game, it would take you 160 games just to earn enough VC to get to an 85.
That's if you buy nothing with your VC but upgrades. No hair, no dribble moves, no jump shot, no dunks, no clothes, no shoes, nothing at all.

I cannot think of a more pay to win game.

I understand your frustration sir, however, one must remember that the overall does not make the player good. Cash may be spent to purchase attributes, signature animations, etc. However, cash can not be spent to level up what is seemingly most important: badges

A company's goal is to make profit and they are doing exactly that. If you don't agree with 2K's tactics then you can play the other game, NBA Live, where you're unable to purchase any virtual currency. Good luck.

You're right. Micro-transactions are part of a revenue stream that undoubtedly encouraged additional investment in development in 2K to make it great, but it does feel like it's becoming unreasonable.

If it's this upsetting to you; continue posting stuff like this, add damming reviews on sites, but just as importantly reduce your VC spending and buy NBA Live to support competition, because in capitalism what you pay for is akin to voting.

Someone on reddit mentioned that 2k lowered how much vc you get playing Pro am. I have yet to confirm but I wouldn't be surprised if 2k did lower the amount you win.

I'm sorry but the best thing to do is buy the base NBA 2k18 game, and then buy $50 in VC. That gets you to 85, gets you a sad few animations and then you can save your grinding for clothes and going from 85-99 (as obviously is intended).

If $50 is not worth weeks of your time then we'll never see eye to eye on the subject.

Steer clear of the playground. Waste of time; bad basketball, takes forever to get into a game, and even when you win, it's a low payout. Losing is even worse in earnings. Easily the worst way to play 2K18, if you ask me.
