    **VOTE** Top CFM Priorities

    Hey guys,

I'm compiling data to send to EA regarding the community's top priorities for CFM now and in the future. The data will then be sent directly to EA (John White and Rex Dickson specifically) so that they can help plan out their approach to CFM. While we all would like what Deuce Douglas posted to come to fruition, we know its going to take time. This will let them know what is important to you right now! So please, take 2-3 minutes to let your voice be heard and I'll post the results when I send off the data. Thanks!

    Vote now!

Didn't T4Verts do the same just in the past month for several iterations of CFM players? Sorry i don't know how to copy a link to a thread here but there is one of these threads for "Team managers" over on page 3 and there were I think 3 or 4 other types of play styles he included.

He did but his poll was limited to I believe around 40 responses and didn't get the full community (for instance, we weren't a part of it as I had not seen it). I think that was also aimed more at league commissioners whereas this is all CFM players as a whole, online and offline. The more responses we get, the more weight these things will carry IMO.

It's not likely honestly. But we can always look at that next year. I wanted to gauge the most likely things we could get implemented into Madden 19 and where they stood within the community.

I think gameplay is still the number 1 priority for franchise. I can't stand the animation dictating the interaction between players. The lack of importance of momentum, size, and height. Very little that distinguishes players from each other (escpecially the quarterback position). Interaction at the line of scrimmage is still lacking. Out routes and fades don't work correctly.

Second on my list would be a new injury/wear and tear system and improved fatigue.

I know it's not popular but my vote is still gameplay.

My answer for question 1 comes with a asterisk.

I chose better playcalling because it was the closest thing to my number 1 desire -- greatly improved AI.

If we are talking features I want coaching staffs added, but without improved AI in the areas of schemes and playcalling coaches will not add much to the experience.

All of this is an absolute waste of time. And when EA asks for lists year after year, it is only to help people feel like they have a voice in something.
We could make a thousand lists (probably nearing that number now) but it isn't going to matter.
EA has THEIR vision of what Madden will be, based on numbers, and they will adhere to that, period.
Sorry, but this has been done ad nauseum.

Unfortunately I disagree. You're right to a point in that they have a strategy as far as how much will go into the mode each year. However, I've been to EA and sat in feedback sessions with them. They care more than people give them credit for. Just not nearly enough for the hardcore fan. However, judging by the early survey results, the vast majorly of CFM users don't value a lot of the more hardcore features which is kind of the point of a survey like this. To see what the community as a whole feels, not just the hardcore user that wants a Head Coach 09 experience.

Julius Peppers facemask glitch must be number 1 priority. Game is LITERALLY unplayable because of this...

On a more serious note, I just want it to be more in depth. I know it's vague, but it feels superficial right now.
Getting the things they have to function, then adding new stuff

I hate to say this to anyone trying help improve the game, but this is the correct answer. EA has years of feedback. They have to prove that they want the feedback at this point.

John White said on the 4 verts podcast he wants a defined path from the community. As I said, they know the hardcore user wants a Head Coach 09 experience. Unfortunately, as this survey is showing, that's less than 40% of those who play CFM. This survey is intended to give them a road map, this year, as to what is important to the greatest number of the community as a whole. Then they can say, ok we can get these things done this year, these the next, and so on. These results will go directly to several devs I have relationships with. There will be no confusion as to what the consensus of the community was. The results will also be posted publicly so the rest of the community knows as well.

Realistically, The draft classes thing isn't a priority. Yes it would be great for some people. But ultimately pointless if the rest of the game isn't improved first. The mode needs far more depth before you all spam making Sam Darnold a 97 ovr out of the draft for some weird reason.
I of course accept that whilst this is great. EA won't actually listen
