Is the PC version of this game still completely dead?

The new info announced today has me afraid for the PC version of the game. It seems like 2k is making the park a much larger aspect of MyCareer than in years past. Those of us who have played this game on PC know how empty the parks are.

Edit: I'm strictly talking about the online user base. Obviously the game itself isn't dead. I'll be picking up a copy for PC if only to make the most of my 65in 4k OLED and to change the terrible vanilla Celtics/Knicks courts through mods.

It's very simple when it comes to pc vs console.

Console=online play

Pc= mods and better graphically with a decent pc.

There is online play on PC but you have to be a little more proactive in playing with community. If you only play safe and makeup, you are likely going to run into a lot of overseas hackers.

i never had Problems finding opponents in the Park here in germany. Not completely dead like you say

Maybe depends on time of day, but if you watch a friend who has a ps4 or xbox... it makes p.c online look like a desert...as one poster mentioned.. we CAN make our own community...

THen again how many P.C players are here??? We can be a small group... expand.. and be a tight knit group.. cheating system will be there, so we kind of need each other because you really can't play against others who use the cheat.. not fair to the regular player earning his badges and building his player.

We an start one in advance.. but getting a list of user names... and add..when the game is released

Can't wait for this looks absolutely amazing !

Honestly don't know what you're talking about. Here on European server it's packed, except when you get past 3-4 AM.

Only the Pay2Win Modes are dead on PC. We dont ****ing waste time on **** like that. MyPlayer was terrible last Year.

Looking at Steam Charts, there seems to be a steady 4k players on 2k17 so I'd expect more of the same for 2k18

Well i guess we PC Users will have the same Issue as the last years.. Park/Playground will not always be fun because there are not always enough Players to Fill every Court.

Actually playing or just logged into live.. Once people buy their VC they will go to the park..

It's why must ordered the legends edition get v.c first and make your guy the best first..

Not even about being better anymore, more about how much you want to spend.. Should be two sections.. People who grind it out...

And not upgrade with VC, to gain attributes yes earned that VC.. but someone who becomes an 85 over night. By spending 190k VC either is looking not to grind and have an advantage..

People who bought their way there shouldn't be allowed in the same parks as people who earned it playing.

Take the P.C community between the cheat engine.. And turning 85 overall in minutes kills tit for people who are casual players..

It's either pay up..or cheat.mor like I do stay offline.

Game itself seems great though.

i don't play my player, just offline games, franchise eventually once i get the hang of the game again. i wouldn't mind playing online against like minded players. is there a list of steam anywhere from us guys here on the forum?? wouldn't mind seeing what online is like with some UK guys. not that i'm on much can't play till monday now and off to london tuesday so i'm hardly gonna get my fix. game is great from what i've played so far!!

Yes but theres one question that always comes to mind is th cheat engine there YES.. and Even worse than before ..now you just load the cheat enter in 999,999,999 skill points...

Cheat option #2.. BUY VC and BUY your player.

P.C is dead in so many ways..offline only would be my suggestion...BUT if you can. Find a few decent guys from here on P.C you can maybe get some good games in as the servers are fine..just loaded with CHEATERS.
