Three deep now, but we have plenty of time to fill this up. If need be, I know where to recruit guys to take care of the remaining spots quickly, but I'd like to keep it people who have already been members of OS before going that route. I'll wait a few few weeks and see where we are then.

I didn't mention it yet, but once we get going, you will have until September 1st to get your payment in. This will still give me a little wiggle room before the regular season start to find a replacement if someone can't do it.

*edited to change date* September 1st falls on Friday. Still gives us that weekend up until the 7th to find a draft date.

          Im interested... Keeper league?

I see this is an auction draft, how does it work? Never done anything like that before.

No, this is isn't a keeper league. I enjoy drafting a new team every year and hope to keep this thing going next season as well.

In an auction league there's a draft order, but it doesn't really matter because that person is only making the opening bid on the player of their choosing. From there, guys keep placing their bid until someone claims him.

Every team has $200 to spend during the draft, so trying to get good value for players is important. It's also fun trying to drive up a price on player that you have no intention on getting. Just don't get stuck with them lol.

Paying attention to your budget is also important, so if you drop $75 on ODB and $60 on David Johnson, piecing together the rest of your roster will get interesting.

I did an auction league for the first time last year and loved it. I will never go back to snake drafts.

Re: Armchair QB's Fantasy Football League

I'm interested. I've never done an auction league before but it sounds like fun.

I assume with a 12 team league that 6 teams make the playoffs?

I will continue to send invites to the league via PM. In the meantime, this is the League Safe page for anyone who wants to put their payment in early. For those who feel more comfortable waiting until the league is full or close to it, remember that you have until September 1st.

Charles Presley has setup Armchair QB's Fantasy Football League to use LeagueSafe -- the trusted source for collecting and protecting fantasy league dues since 2008.

4 in, 8 more spots to go. Come get your medicine, OS.

                          Pretty sure I'm down.

Never did an auction draft before, but I'll give it a go. I might be able to bring some others along as well.

                          Message me the details.

Trying to wrap my head around Auction league.

So can you get a really solid team with $200 budget?

I'm talking like top 10 QB, 2 top 20 RBs, 2 top 30 WRs and so on.
