    Soccer Trivia Time

This was a thread that was done a while back in the baseball forum. A couple of friends and I are passing the time on a group chat doing EPL trivia, so thought this could be a good idea.

So one person gives a trivia question and people try to guess it. If people are getting stumped start giving clues. When someone gets it right, that person gives the next question. Don't be a jerk and look it up, lol

    Here we go....

Name the 3 players who have scored 100 Premier League goals and have played for BOTH Liverpool and Aston Villa.

EDIT: This one might sound obscure, but someone will get it. One recently retired, one is without a club but I don't think he has retired, and the third still plays in the EPL.

    Robbie Keane
    Benteke
Uhh, Crouch? Did he play for Villa?

    I'll go with those three.

      Keane and Crouch are right.

Nice one on Keane considering his spells at both clubs were really short.

Benteke doesn't have 100 EPL goals yet.

The third one is the player who recently retired.

Feels like Keane played for every single premier league club at some point so that was the first name that came to mind, Crouch was a shot in the dark lol.

        Surprised Bentekkers doesn't have 100.

        Is it an older guy?

        Omg it's Heskey isn't it

Oh yeah, it's definitely Emile Heskey he was actually with Bolton through 2016! His first Bolton goal in 2014 was assisted by.....Eidur Gudjohnsen. Your turn.

Which Leicester City players were already premier league winners before that season?

Mark Schwarzer is one. Or does he not count?

BTW, he's another good bit of trivia. The only non-European to make 500+ EPL appearances. Friedel was close at like 480 or so.

Not sure who wins, since you each got one. But yes it's Schwarzer and Huth.

Fun fact, Huth has 3 premier league winners medals

I'll go, to keep this flowing.

Who were the last three Englishmen to score UEFA Champions League hat-tricks? Hope this still qualifies as trivia, if not tell me I'll come up with another one.

Gotta be Stevie G and Rooney, not sure about the third though. Did Kane get one last season?

Maybe we have to go back to Crouch?

I'm gonna go with Rooney, Stevie and Crouchy

Absolutely qualifies. Any soccer trivia, not just EPL. This is a good one.

EDIT: After thinking about this, I'm almost positive Gerrard never scored a CL hat trick. I do remember Danny Welbeck scoring one against Galatasaray a couple years ago for Arsenal though.

Welbeck and Rooney are right. Still looking for the third one. If it helps, he's a retired player.
