As I'm sure everyone knows, FIFA is super lame and
the only big sports franchise to NOT have an online career/dynasty mode. How is it 2017 and EA and FIFA have not put this in the game yet? I sure hope this mode makes its debut for FIFA 18, but since the only thing they care about is making money in Ultimate Team I doubt it...
Anyway, I created a Google Sheets template that you can use to play a pseudo online career mode/season mode for the Premier League.
Click on the below link and then hit "Make a Copy" to get things started.

A couple of things:
1. Once you have your group of friends, claim your teams by putting in your name in the "Manager" line on each team tab
2. You will have to play your games vs. the CPU in the Play Now section of FIFA (or I guess each human player could start their own career mode within the game) For any user vs. user games, you will want to play in Online Friendlies
3. Once you choose your team and start playing games, you need to update W/D/L, scores and goals scored for only the HOME TEAM. Once you update the info for the HOME team, it will auto populate the score and goals scored for the visiting team.
When entering goals scored, ONLY use the last name of a player. If multiple goals are scored in a game, then enter them as follows: Kane, Eriksen, Kane
4. Whoever is deemed the "commish" of the league will have to do a little bit of leg work to update the Table and the Statistics tab once games get going (as Google Sheets doesn't allow auto sorting of tables).
-Steps to update Table: Go to the "Table" tab at the bottom...select Column B, then hold down the "Shift" key and select column K. Once highlighted, go to Data then select sort range. Click "data has a header row" and then sort by Points. Check mark the Z-A box, then click Sort.
-Steps to update Statistics:Go to the "Statistics" tab at the bottom...if there were multiple goals scored in a game by the same team, you will see it entered as Costa, Hazard for example. In any cell on the "Statistics" page that has multiple names listed, you will have to click on the cell then go to Data at the top and click on where it says Split Text to Column. Once that is done for all cells that have more than one name in it, you will need to then sort the Goals Scored Table. Select Column B, then hold down the "Shift" key and select column C. Once highlighted, go to Data then select sort range. Click "data has a header row" and then sort by Goals Scored. Check mark the Z-A box, then click Sort.
I've got a group of 5 of us playing this so far and it has been a lot of fun. You just need to set ground rules on Half Length and Difficulty level.
Let me know if you have questions or if something on the spreadsheet is broken.
For the CPU games, I've just been entering the real life results from the EPL games this season as we go along.
Give it a try and let me know what you think.
