I noticed that there a slight graphics degrade after selecting the pitch, kind of like a quck jutter. Im using 4k with HDR enabled. This has been an issue in the past as well.

Re: Graphics degrade after pitch selection
I'm shocked the glitchy, flickering 3/4 sleeves are still in game. Even on my pro in 4k. Can't believe it's still there.Comment

I'm seeing it also. So it's happening on the Pro, too? Was this fixed in a patch in years past or nah?Comment

Re: Graphics degrade after pitch selection
I feel like I notice it more when it gets to the later innings. I remember being annoyed with this last year. Also pre-swing has a glitch where it freezes for a second.Comment

Re: Graphics degrade after pitch selection
Anyone having issues with created player eyes in the pause menu mid-game (player pictures)?
It looks like their discolored or something, not sure how to explain it...

Re: Graphics degrade after pitch selection
Pretty sure this is intentional - it allows the game to run at a higher frame rate during actual action since it doesn't have to render as many details.
Without the slight degradation, the action would be choppier, then you'd be complaining about that.Comment

Re: Graphics degrade after pitch selection
I dunno if this is related but on the Pro, at 1080p, every at-bat there is a moment where my batters jersey "pops" for a split second. It isn't a degredation, its almost like it just "resets" or something. I have videos I can upload if that would help"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: Graphics degrade after pitch selection
Yes. Happens every time a pitch is selected. From the stretch, when you're batting you'll see it every time. And when you're pitching you'll see it. On a pro as well.Comment

Re: Graphics degrade after pitch selection
I remember this from last year and I'm extremely surprised that it happens on the Pro. After I select the pitch there's various things that happen to downgrade the graphics. The weirdest thing I've experienced is that the pitcher doesn't have the ball in his hand (his hand is behind his back as he's awaiting a sign) and then it suddenly appears in his hand after the pitch is selected.Comment

Re: Graphics degrade after pitch selection
This, and a couple other little hitches here and there, definitely distract me a little bit sometimes

Re: Graphics degrade after pitch selection
I didn't mind this when it did it a few years ago, and I don't mind it now. But I do see it - I'm not denying the whole point of this thread.Comment

Re: Graphics degrade after pitch selection
it happens when I bat, and when I pitch. On a ps4 pro, with enhanced visuals. no hdr on a samsung 6300k.
Now, How i feel about the flickering, or degrading. I literally HATE IT. i can't say how distracting it is enough. I would love it if they patched it out. whoever made the call to have it, should really rethink the decision. I get some of you don't mind it, but it is beyond distracting for me. I have never noticed it in previous years games, if it was there. I have never seen a thing like this in another game, and I play alot, ps4, pc, switch....t. clancy ghostlands, had a flickering tree issue, and I refunded the game on steam. they ended up patching it. I am not going to trade this game in or anything, but I reiterate, i hate, hate hate that it does this, and would LOVE if they patched it.Comment
