NDAlum's Seattle Reign MyLeague

Welcome to my Seattle Reign expansion/fantasy draft MyLeague! I have decided to expand the league to 32 teams with the inclusion of the Seattle Reign and Vancouver Huskies. The city of Seattle has been craving for the NBA to return and why not give a fresh new look to their team? This is a clean slate for the city and this team is ready to #reigndown on the Northwest.

All-Pro sliders (ThatMichiganFan)
12 minute quarter
31 game season length
3-3-5-7 playoff format
Fantasy Draft Results (#11/22 pick)
Pick #11 - SF Giannis Antetokounmpo | 6'11" 222 lbs - 21 yrs old from Greece
At a position that just isn't very deep and with a kid who has the ability to blossom into a superstar the Reign went with this electric player. He's young and will serve as a core player for the franchise. He'll set the tone as an athletic/long swing player who can guard almost anybody on the court. If he develops a better shooting game he'll be a cheat code.
Round 2 - PG Eric Bledsoe | 6'1" 205 lbs - 26 yrs old from Kentucky
Well the Reign are going with defense/athleticism with these two picks. Bledsoe is a catalyst on offense and his defensive ability should help locking down the elite PG's in the league. He's a strong slasher and has improved his long-range shooting. Durability is a question with Bledsoe.
Round 3 - PF Serge Ibaka | 6'10" 235 lbs - 27 yrs old from Congo
It was tough to decide between Bledsoe and Ibaka in round 2. When Ibaka fell to round 3 it was a no-brainer. The defensive theme of this team just continues and Ibaka also has a nice mid-range game and can even step out and hit a 3. His block numbers dipped in '15-'16 but he's a career 2.5 bpg player.
Round 4 - SF Brandon Ingram | 6'9" 190 lbs - 19 yrs old from Duke
I couldn't pass up the potential with Ingram. We'll see if he can possibly slide into the SG role. He's so light that I think he might be able to translate there one day. Either way he's going to be coming off the bench and it's a great spot for him to be. He won't be asked too much of early and can develop.
Round 5 - C Gorgui Dieng | 6'11" 241 lbs - 26 yrs old from Louisville
Dieng was a great pickup here. He's got length and rebounds well. Not much of a shot blocker but he will get his one a game. Solid ability to step out and knock down a mid-range jumper and good free throw shooter.
Round 6 - SG Allen Crabbe | 6'6" 210 lbs - 24 yrs old from California
I like Crabbe but I completely forgot about his contract. Yikes! He's going to get like $18M/year for his 10 ppg. He'll be the starter and I hope he plays up to that contract.
Round 7 - PF Meyers Leonard | 7'1" 245 lbs - 24 yrs old from Illinois
Well the big men can shoot better than the guards. Leonard is a big body who isn't very athletic but he can shoot a bit. He'll get his boards and should be a decent body off the bench. Has the ability to grow some and become a smarter defender.
Round 8 - C Andrew Bogut | 7'0" 260 lbs - 31 yrs old from Utah
With the roster taking shape I made the decision that the Reign have a roster that should be able to compete. Bogut is a great interior defender and is a veteran champ who should be a great player off the bench.
Round 9 - PG Shelvin Mack | 6'3" 206 lbs - 26 yrs old from Butler
Mack is simply a gritty player who we're excited to have on the squad. He's a big moment player and will look to make sure the second unit doesn't see a substantial drop off.
Round 10 - SG Justin Holiday | 6'6" 185 lbs - 27 yrs old from Washington
Holiday is a jack of all trades bench guy with decent length for the position.
Rounds 11-13
C Dewayne Dedmon
PF Chris McCullough
C Cheick Diallo
Went with some big men in the event Ibaka bolts in free agency and we know Bogut probably is a one and done. None of these guys projects as more than a rotational big at best.
