Need Help: Quick question to all.
I am desperatly trying to get more tackles from the linebacker position controlling the lineback myself. For years and years, i have always played as either DE. To challenge myself a bit more, i have started playing as the linebackers. My question is, how do i get more tackles here? It seems that the other CPU controlled linebackers get immediate tackles on the running back, while i get sucked into a block that i either can shed, or takes me too long to shed. Should I wait to hit the gaps? Should get someone with excellent block shed skills? or more power? or more power and block shed? Or will "just block shed" be enough. I am usually playing with Stephone Anthony of the Saints, and his power i think is 73 and block shed a bit higher. He has 86 speed though. I always seem to get stuck on a block and cant get to the QB in time or my linebacking teammates get the running back much quicker than I do but yet, are also only rated in the upper 70s. I get plenty of tackles and sacks with Jadeveon Clowney (who i traded for) and Cam Jordan, but cannot for the life of me, get consistent pressure or tackles when controlling the linebacker manually. Is there a slider i can adjust such as run blocking for the CPU that will slow my teammates down and let me have the chance to tackle more? Any help is greatly appreciated.
