My RTTS player currently has 6 years of Major League experience time and my contract runs out this year. I really don't want to resign with my current team. I have good enough stats to get picked up by another team but this is my question. If I refuse the contract from my current team will more than one team offer contracts? Is there a time limit on how long I get to decide or do I have to sign on the day the new team contract is offered? What happens if nobody picks me up? Thanks

Re: MLB16 RTTS Contract Question
Usually you will receive more than one offer. I don't know about a time limit because I have never really pushed it to far. There has always been a team/ offer that I have wanted to go to. If you do not sign with anybody then you can select a team to "try out" for and go to spring training to see if you can earn a spot.In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

Re: MLB16 RTTS Contract Question
If you choose to sit (aka: advancing to the next day, week, month) and not sign with a team, they will eventually pull their offer. I believe you only get 3 or 4 at a time, so when one team pulls theirs another team usually offers. Also, the game won't let you sign for pennies in order for your new team to have extra money to get other good players. So expect to sign for $18-30mil per year depending on your overall.

Re: MLB16 RTTS Contract Question
As others have said if you sit and wait teams will come and go with their respective offers. If a team you really like pops up in the first few offers then take it, but if you want the most money I'd recommend waiting. In the last few years of The Show I've noticed that the offers get more and more lucrative as Free Agency goes on.Chicago Bulls | Chicago Bears | Chicago White Sox | Chicago BlackhawksComment
