    The Vitor punch flail animation needs removing

    It looks ridiculous as it did on UFC 1 and more importantly it's insanely broken when the fighter throwing the strikes has perks like "opportunist" and "vengeful".

    Yesterday I was playing against the #1 ranked guy in Heavyweight for ultimate team. I controlled the fight and won the first 4 rounds comfortably, I took minimal damage and was coasting towards a win when all of a sudden I get rocked from one strike (not complaining about that). It's easy to survive when your head is rocked, you just block your head and wait for the rock to pass then you can side step and block accordingly, but what happened next disgusted me. He went into Vitor mode and threw literally 12-15 punches in a row sending my arm damage from roughly 10% all the way to 100%, smashing my block and dropping me for a free finish. After the fight I was wondering how he managed to throw so many strikes and do so much damage in such a short space of time without completely gassing himself out. The answer was vengeful and opportunist level 4/5.

    This animation NEEDS removing. It's ugly, it's pointless and it's unnecessary. There should never be an instance where someone can destroy your arm health from practically 0-100% and get an automatic finish all in the space of 5 seconds. Please get on this GPD.

    Are you referring to the goofy as hell looking auto bum rush animation that activates as you move in on a rocked oppenent ?

        Yup. I think everyone on this forum agrees "finish the fight" is garbage.

          What's even worse is the stamina penalty the offensive fighter gets just for moving.

              That's funny when most people hate it because it drains your stamina and barely does any damage to the rocked player. All you have to do to stop it is parry one shot anyway. With all the 100 OVRs on the top of the UT leaderboards, I'm not surprised something cheesey like that happened, though.

                Let me be the first to ask then, why was it still in the game when UFC 2 came out or never fixed after a few patches? or why was this mechanic even in the game in the first place if you "Hate it"?

                  It was added in as a patch in UFC 1, but it looked pretty bad. I wish we had pulled the plug on it for that patch, but we didn't.

                  For UFC 2, we recaptured all the animations and that was supposed to make it look better.

                  It still looks goofy, but by the time we realized that, it was too late to take it out without risking introducing a bunch of bugs and problems.

                  At this point, taking it out is more work than it's worth.

                  It will just sit there as a constant reminder to me to not put something in the game in a patch that you're not 100% happy with, because getting rid of it isn't easy once it's out there.

                      Honestly I don't want nothing like that. That is just to crazy for me to have every fighter do this over and over during a Finsh The Fight scenerio.

                        People want to be able to effectively chase down and finish people who are rocked/stunned.

                        It's a source of frustration for a lot of people, and FTF doesn't cut it.

                        It's a back to the drawing board kind of thing in my opinion.

                          I dont mind the mini sprint the FTF has, however the punches feel useless and waste of time. I dont know why we cant have the ability to use that mini sprint by pushing down the left stick towards the oppoenent, then we can throw our combinatons the way we want too.

                            Because it won't work.

                            I'll be able to prove that once the next patch drops, but it's something I've known for a long time.

                            Movement speed isn't the issue, it's deeper than that.
