1. Yes this deserved its own thread.

2. EA how stupid can you be? Why is this beta online only? Im forced to play against idiots who score a goal and play keep away with the puck for 18 minutes. Not only that, the online is LAGGY AS ****. This game was not meant for online play, no EA NHL game has ever had a competent online experience.

3. Why the **** cant I play a quick game offline?????

4. Dont tell me to play "hut." I dont want to play with random scrubs I want to play as my favorite team against other teams.

5. I know many of you will try and say " well you probably just suck and cant win online," im currently 11-2 and probably ranked higher than you, so dont bother. The online play just sucks, its not smooth at all.

Yes im aware of that. Thank you. I dont want to play with random scrubs on my team. I want to play a quick game with the normal NHL rosters, but I guess thats just too much to ask for.

They aren't even normal rosters though they are the latest rosters from 16 with all the screw ups included mccarron and Daniel Carr are 90s on Montreal

Youre making points that are completely irrelevant. Ok who cares if the rosters are out of date, that isnt the point.

I want to play a quick game offline, with 2 NHL teams and not randomized rosters. What is so hard to understand about this?

I was just letting you know. I understand what your gripe is with it, I hate playing online I only play eashl the odd time with buddies, other then that I play gm mode. Can't stand out playing people all game online but yet they win with three cheese goals and I'm sitting there scratching my head cause I work the puck around and try to get good scoring chances

The best I'd say is try to build a somewhat realistic roster on hut and do solo games for now, that's all we can do till the full game comes out

You do realize it's a beta, not a demo. It's primarily for online players. Be happy we got anything at all this early.

This is a beta and a beta that they are wanting feedback on particular parts of their game. Not sure why you feel so entitled in this post to demand that they offer something different in their beta.....that they are providing to you for free. How many sports games do you know that provides a beta?

Also to the OP, I have yet to have any sort of lag in EASHL/OTP with the beta. Perhaps check your connection and/or make sure you are hard wired to your PS4

The idea for the Beta is to help fix the online and get as many players plying as possible over a week. If you are so upset about a beta that is meant for online, donèt play it and wait until the game releases in September. As far as laggy, no one I have played with or vs in HUT, EASHL or Drop ins have had lag so I have no idea what the complaint is there.

You can't play with gameplay settings either. They are grey out. I want to see if I can emulate realistic penalties. Otherwise I'm passing this year. Too many years without penalties kills my sim fever.

I was under the impression that the beta was crafted for the sole purpose of testing/balance/working out the kinks related to online play -not just to give a free demo to everyone.
