    NHL Legacy 2016-17 Rosters (WIP)

    Hello, folks!

    I'm new to this whole modding thing, as well as this Forum.

    While messing around with omega's NHL 2015 Roster (worth the purchase!) I inadvertently figured out how to mod NHL Legacy.

    I have begun updating the Rosters to date (2016 Draft, Free Agency thus far) and will post when it is complete.

    I'm not sure I will move the ages up a year, as I don't know a quick way to do that across all the players (if anyone knows how, please give me a shout!)

    Other than that, I will have to go manually through all the players and move their birthday back a year, and that does not sound fun.

    Nice to meet you all, and I will keep updates going in this thread!

              I hope to have everything complete by the time training camp opens.

              I foresee not being able to control the ages easily, and we may have to deal with 17 year olds from the 2016 Entry Draft.

              Does anyone know any tricks for changing ages without having to go through and do them all individually?

              Update - I am going alphabetically through the teams and doing their free agent signings and trades to date, I just finished Carolina/Charlotte.

                  I aged every single player, one by one. It's a pain in the a**, but it's worth it. I know there's a way with something called EA DB Editor, but I don't know what it is and how to use it. Maybe you could be luckier than me.

                      Yeah I looked into DB Editor, but it seems it only works up to NHL 14.

                      I am far too lazy to change the ages individually hahah.

                          Update!

                          I have 21/30 rosters set. That's free agents, trades and draft picks including their updated contracts. In order to get the draftees on the teams I had to "guess" their ELCs if they hadn't signed yet. Seems if a team just has rights to a player, they sit in a weird limbo (correct me if I'm wrong on that!)

                          A few things...

                          I only made HS/college players if they were drafted in round 1 or signed as free agents - if you want to add your team's 7th round pick from the NCAA, be my guest!

                          I'm leaving the ages as is...it's too much of a pain to change every one manually. If this is a problem, do it yourself! ��

                                          Hey man ive had trouble in the past finding reliable sites for minor league rosters until i found rosterresource.com, not sure if youve discovered this site already but if not i highly recommend this for ur rosters, its uodated on the fly with projected major and minor league clubs

                                              Sorry to necro my own thread here...but I just wanted to apologize for not completing this.

                                              I was working on it quite diligently, and then we had some unforeseen renovations occur at my house and I lost my office/workspace.

                                              I saw that ranger made his own rosters and posted them (probably far better than I could do anyway) and recommend you check those out!
