Who is your favorite fighter to play as?

My favorite fighter to use in EA UFC 2 is Robbie Lawler, as he has Viscious power in every strike, great combo abilty and a solid chin. He is so much fun to use.

I got a few

* Johny Hendricks --- a wrestler w/ heavy, heavy hands and great perks; love it!

* Gilbert Melendez --- one of the most well rounded LWs, always have fun w/ him, he was my primary fighter in UFC 1 and I like him even more in UFC 2

* Chad Mendes --- another wrestler w/ heavy hands

* Yoel Romero --- I just won the EFC MW Belt w/ Romero so I'm definitely a fan of his haha his hands aren't the greatest of all time, but not bad, and his wrestling and clinch are quite legit

I usually like to fight with some of the less familiar names;

Robert Whittaker, very decent stand-up en some serious KO power

Neil Magny, I like his combination of size and speed, although you're gonna have a hard time fighting Lawler with him

Uriah Hall, the man is straight up animal

I usually just pick fighters who i like in real life.

Some of my favorites to use:

Frank Mir-
The guys leg lock game is awesome. I love tearing peoples legs apart with Mir. He's got some awesome reversals also, and his boxing is actually pretty strong. Very fun to use.

Joe Duffy-
I love Duffy in this game. Hes small in the weight class, has mediocre stats, whatever perks, but for some reason I shred people up with Duffy. Another fun guy to use.

Albert Tuminov-
Man this guy is a BEAST! I have so many headkick KOs with this guy it's not even funny. I love to just stay patient, wait for my opponent to overextend and then light them up with pressure, and slick combinations.

Honestly I go through phases, and there's a slew of different fighters I love to use, but this past week or so, these are the guys i've been jamming most.

obviously his ground game is the best we all know that can be almost unstoppable if used correctly

what can i say about dc in this game a straight beast clinching is the best in the game and wrestling is second to none his boxing is clean as well and he packs a punch

I generally skip LHW and HW (gets boring fighting JJ) but I otherwise use Weidman or Sakuraba

I still can't figure out who I like at BW and FW.

Flyweight I use Wilson Reiss.

You guys can probably gather what I prefer. Anyone with suggestions for me at Bantom and Feather let me know. I like jiu jitsu guys who also have some good top game.

Ben Saunders is lots of fun. I love his shoulder roll stance. He's also decent on the mat.

Stefen Struve! So fun with his reach and teeps. He's good against Jon Jones, unless he gets taken down, of course.

Donald Cerrone: He's got almost everything! Great punches, kicks, elbows, knees, clinch, body attacks, bottom game, reach...

Germaine De Randamie: The Iron Lady has great standup, don't get taken down though. She's not so great against Ronda or Meisha, but I'm like 20-0 against Cyborg with her!

Try Ricardo Lamas and Cub Swanson. Both have good stats and a full arsenal of standup attacks.

I think me and you might be the only guys out there playing as Burns. Lol! Never seen another Durinho player yet.

You're not doing yourself any favors staying out of HW though. Between Big Nog, WarDoom, and Mir, they have some awesome Jits guys to play with.

As far as FW fighters you'd like, It's EASY. Brian "T-City"Ortega, and Charles "do Bronx" Oliveira. Both guys are monsters on the ground. They may not look like it at first glance, but go through their moves in practice and see they have lots of very high level stuff.

Fly: DJ, Horiguchi
Bantam: Faber, Sterling
Feather: Edgar, Ricardo Lamas
Lightweight: Nate Diaz, Khabib, Cerrone
Welter: Rory Mac, Lawler, Magny, Maia, Nate Diaz
Middleweight: Jacare, Romero, Rockhold, Gracie, Lawler
LHW: Cormier, Patrick Cummins, Rumble
Heavy: Cain, Barnett, JDS, Overeem

These are the fighters I almost always use when I'm tryna rack up wins in ranked. The women's bantamweight, men's bantamweight and welterweight divisions are extremely balanced on this game. Lightweight would be too if you take out Khabib.

I love Durinho in this game. His stats look low for how great he feels on the ground. I love how he, Maia, and Jacare all feel strong on top and bottom

I've tried to like Olivera but just can't get there. I'll try Ortega.

HW Mir and Nog are hard for me to keep up against Jones, and Cain (I'm not very good at stand up). If I use Werdum I feel like a loser (same way I feel when I see my opponent using Lawler, McGregor, D. Johnson etc.).

Thanks for the tips. I'll work with the old men at HW and Ortega a bit (just saw he has a 4* Flying Triangle)
