Can you guys even drive to the basket with these useless dribbling moves?

I find the dribbling moves so freaking useless this year, it just help my player to dribbling in circle on his own and once his body contacts with the defender, they are like sucked into each other like there is a magnetic, and then the shot clock is at like 7 seconds...I just want to be free man, crossover, drive, if I am not successful, get pushes back and passes to a teammate and then do some pick and roll, the game is just NOT SMOOTH period...anyone feels the same way??

I feel like my players have been playing in quicksand since 2k15 came out. The unresponsiveness and lack of full control has to be addressed in my opinion.

There is an excellent video on how spacing affects dribble moves in the strategy thread. The moves aren't broken they just require timing, spacing, and reading the defense's reaction to maximize their effectiveness. They can be hard to use and sometimes your best efforts will be stuffed by good defense. It happens. But there are a lot of videos on the effectiveness of dribble moves.

No, you could have good spacing, and great timing and your character will either stutter step, or the defender will TP to you.

whats tp bro? but yeah like AI just can do things you cannot do as a USER, like the way they operate their offence is just way more smooth than you can possibly control your own guys...

Probably because this hasn't been an issue for 9 months IMO. I personally noticed this happening once patch 6 went live. The dribbling has went downhill since. The guards lose the ball or pick up their dribble too often and even with good spacing you'll still stutter or get pulled into the defender. It's quite terrible. I pray 2k gets things right in 17 smh.
