I'm starting to come around on the idea of the tackle battle. I didn't have a problem with the coin flip so it feels like they are forcing an on screen indicator on me. If the battle only triggers in 1v1 situations where the Tackle and Break Tackle rating are in a certain range, then why bother having it? Just let the "battle" animation play, have the coin flip, then let it play out based on the outcome. I'm assuming the how quickly the cpu reacts will be dynamic so the player can win every single time, but at that point your button input is simply controlling your roll of the dice.
As long as it's not happening 8+ times a game I'm not gonna let something as simple as this stop from enjoying the game though considering all the other improvements we've heard about and havnt heard about yet.Comment

You guys really need to stop over analyzing these features when they are announced. It's probably not what your imagining in your head and probably won't be as bad as its being taken as.
Until they release how it works, just relax, this team has earned that much from the community IMO. This franchise has turned around since Rex and his team took over.Comment

That really sucks about Online Team Play not being back this year. I really like the sound of what they have, and are continuing to do, from a gameplay standpoint; however, when Team Play was removed a few years back, I told myself that I wouldn't play Madden again until Team Play was brought back and I meant it. Was really hoping this would be the year.Comment

It goes further than just your best guy on their best guy. I definitely do not want Brandon Browner on Tavon Austin in the slot, it's creating the best match-ups along the field.
