MLB 17 Feature Wishes?

I know this is extremely early to even think about MLB 17 The Show, but what features do you want to see in the game? This is my list. Some of them are what everyone else has been asking for.

-Rain-delays/Rainouts/Doubleheaders
-Face Scans with accurate characteristics (like NBA 2K)
-Improved morale system with more detail
-Sweat dripping off of players faces/Hair blowing in the wind
-Situational Commentary (Who is warming up in the pen, who should enter the game)
-A news feed with all relevant league breaking news/trades
-A countdown until clinching postseason birth (Would show in the standings statistics next to games back)
-Better audio sound effects for ball hitting the glove, bat hitting the ball, planes flying behind Citi Field/Petco Park

The ability to import a player into an existing franchise. This has been a problem every year. Start a franchise, then a guy gets called up to your team in real life, SCEA creates him, and you have to choose to restart the franchise or just pretend like the player doesn't exist.

An import feature would allow you to basically start a franchise day one with the initial rosters. As SCEA adds players each week, you could download the individual players and import them over the fake (or user created) minor league players.

This could be problematic since that would potentially mean suddenly deleting a player and all their stats from a minor league team, but since SCEA basically has a "single A" level that is basically a list of players who aren't actually playing games, maybe they could basically only allow imports over top single A players. Then you'd have to add them to the major league level and adjust the roster accordingly.

A vault search option & being able to transfer logos year to year.

-Ability to override a player's retirement once, in case they have an exceptionally good year
-In Northern climates, the ability to have flurries as weather for the months of April and October (colorado rockies game IRL a few years ago had game time temp of 23F and snow showers)
- In franchise mode, for players have a countdown meter in the stands signaling the countdown to a big milestone (i.e 3,000 hits, 500 HR, etc.) * i can see doing this possibly being implemented by only focusing on guys with 10 years or more experience being choosen since that's probably the minimum amount of years to realistically reach a huge carrer milestone

**** Year-to-Year Roster Compatibility, full editing ability of players (service time, batting helmets, pull vs. push...etc.)

* customizable divisions, editable coaches, create-A-team w/ ability to set coaches, home ball park, and managing styles (NOTE: for customizable divisions, you can simply take the setup format for online franchise and make it available as an offline option)

* Do away with the bonus/penalty system for managers (+2 Contact, -1 H/9) and replace them with a managing style attribute system (fully editable, of course). These can include manager hook, hit-and-run tendency, lineup preferences, small-ball tendencies, etc...

* draft class editing

* ground ball vs. fly ball tendencies (full editing, mainly for pitchers)

* pop-up screen to individually select secondary positions played

* doubles and triples down the line

* ability to override game time (for in-game graphics, not schedule altering)

* replace team rankings page with a complete, sortable statistical table, just like the one for individual players.

* crowd throwing the visiting home run ball back at Wrigley

* merge the "roster control" functions into the "manage/edit players" page. I see no reason for them to be separated.

1. ESPN or some type of official broadcast integration.
2. Make weather actually matter
3. Clean up grass, it look really flat and low resolution.
4. More uniforms slots and the truth about the uniform guide.
5. Millions of cutscenes, maybe a cut scene for ump telling manager n pitcher to hurry up.

More stats!

Separate sortable stat boards like mlb 2k had. Qualifying league leaders, full season stats, qualifying sabermetrics, full sabermetrics. Baseball is about stats, I want to see them all!

Single game record tracking

More season/career record categories. Including separate lists for team records.

More player customization options. Tattoos, jewelry, thumb protectors, more hairstyles.

Career leader board.

Add some of the character interactions like the "my player" mode from NBA 2k and "the life" from EA's NHL series. Obviously I don't think having an interview after every game is needed. Beginning of spring training, hot/win streak, cold/losing streak, milestones, all-star game, trades, injuries, playoffs, etc.

More manager/GM interactions. Maybe I want to bat sixth. Maybe I can hit 50 hr but I want to hit in the 2 spot or leadoff. I don't want to dictate my spot in the batting order, but it would be nice to have some say besides "I want to bat higher". Maybe I want to have some input in our trade policy/FA signings (once I'm established on the team), again not dictating just suggestions.

Fix the ai trade logic/free agent signing logic.

That's all I can think of right now, if I think of anything else I'll add it later.

• Expansion mode/draft. Would build off of the current Diamond Dynasty uniform maker. Create a stadium is unlikely, so maybe have 3-4 generic stadiums we can use, or choose a classic park
• No Trade Clauses
• International free agents during and after the season
