Devs: Please Update These Players Stats

Having had success of getting a lot of badges updated....I would like to make a thread here on what players stats should be boosted realistically. Not what we "think" but realistically justified. Please help me list here.

Reward Ray Allen - Last year's Sonics card was 31 years old. He had 88 speed, 89 quick, and 88 lat quick. This year his Bucks card obviously had the wrong athleticism. 79 speed and 77 acc. This card is based on the 25 year old Ray Allen. His Sonics Card this year has 83/82 speed/acc and 84 lat quick. Ironically, his rewards Bucks card has 84 lat quick...so I am sure there was a mistake with his speed/acc. He realistically needs a bump because he is based more off the 36 year old Celts Ray Allen. He should be mid-high 80's when you compare him to some other cards out there. I would say what last year's Sonics card stats were are good.

Reward and Historic Joe Dumars - Last year he had speed and acc of 80/82. This year 72/74. There are bigs way faster than him. It pretty much makes him unusable. Dumars was not that slow. 80/82 sounds about right.

Reward and Historic Clyde Drexler - based off of his '95 year, last year speed/acc was 85/82 which is about right for Rockets version. This year 78/75. Too slow realistically. Also '91 Drexler has same stats and he should be faster than '95. He should be in the high 80's (last year was 86 speed). Clyde Drexler like MJ and Dominique had ELITE speed in his prime for a guy of his size.

Reward and Historic Penny Hardaway - Last years versions of the same card had speed/acc of 87/89. Doesnt have to be that high realistically but this years rating of 79/81 is far too low. Both should be in mid-high 80's. At least a 6 pt increase in both areas is warranted.

The dynamic wall and westbrook needs their speeds adjusted to compensate for Currys speed increases. Can't increase the cover athlete and neglect the pg that are actually quicker irl.

How can wall acceleration be 90 and curry is 96. Anyone watch how wall accelerate to the basket when he breaks defenses down, a 90 ain't justified when compared to curry.

Agreed they just neglected Walls DR card completely mind boggling

yeah, but...the problem isnt that Wall and Westbrook are too low, its that Curry is too high. not sure if they will boost these guys. Curry doesnt play like IRL so they boost other stats to try and get him to be more impactful.

we are actually talking about "broken" stuff here. DR cards are totally different criteria and subject to their discretion when it comes to updating. I am focusing more on static cards that were nerfed to begin with. like I would mention current Ish Smith but his DR is still a tad slower that it should be I believe. he's definitely faster than Curry.

It was a problem created by 2k. Nobody was complaining about curry being slow. Now they can't turn back and reduce his speed, now they have to at least address the ratings they claimed are based on a legend scale.

It's just annoying to see them contradict themselves with ratings. If they just want to make curry godly, give him some dunks so he can just posterize and throw in some steals.

I'm not too bothered by making Curry's Acceleration elite. I would assume that Westbrook and Wall are more explosive, but I try not to think too much about comparative stats, because there's just too much to potentially quibble with. And it's not like we have quantitative data for attributes such as acceleration.

Certainly, I wouldn't argue with Curry having 90 or high 80's Acceleration, but I don't have an issue with his 94/96 in Current/Dynamic. This year, he dances around the perimeter with dribble moves and then drives to the basket with real explosiveness. He's very often getting past his defender in the first few steps and is either contending with interior defenders collapsing on him, or protecting the ball from his own defender, who is trailing at that point.

Also look at how quickly he can stop and change directions, as a ballhandler and also when running around off-ball screens.

So, again, not sure he "deserves" 94 or 96, but I also wouldn't say that he does not deserve it.

Yea I agree his ratings make sense. I didn't say he doesn't deserve it, I'm just saying how come wall isn't equally as good when it comes to acceleration. Their whole rating scale is based on comparison to a legends scale. So if curry is 96, shouldn't wall be equally as good. That's what I'm trying to point out.

I don't know, but my guess would be that this comes down to balancing gameplay. Wall and Westbrook are Posterizing Driving Dunk machines, whereas Curry will only put up layups. So, for gameplay, they may feel like they need to not make WallBrooks too OP in that regard.
