Add an "er" to the end of it and I'd watch it. Looks like a standard horror movie otherwise.

The wife and I sent to see this today. She didn't like it that much. I on the other hand loved it.

The director captured the puritan times perfectly. The atmosphere has edge to it. Creepy and unsettling and times.

Too bad the theater had some young people who really didn't understand this is a time piece and we're talking and laughing.

As I said earlier this probably won't be for everyone, but if your into time pieces I highly recommend this

It took me a few days to get my thoughts together about it, but I really enjoyed it. It's not a horror film for people who like jump scares and the usual Hollywood garbage. But, it is unsettling throughout and really just a quality cinematic experience.

Just finished watching it.
Easily one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

No scares. No suspense. No twists. Needed sub-titles just to understand what anyone was even saying.

The wife and I barely get time away from our 3 kids (including a 2YO) to go on a date, but tonight was one of those rare occasions.
After reading several favourable reviews (89% at RT), we were both excited to see a scary/creepy movie.

The only scary thing about this is how on earth it got an 89% rating. I wouldn't even give it a .89 rating.

I still contend that The English Patient is the worst movie I've ever seen.
This movie is a very close 2nd.

What an utter and complete waste of time and money.
