    DR Buy/Sell Market Advice

Thought I would create a "stock tip" like thread for DR cards.

I have been procrastinating at buying some cards....also, the unpredictability of 2k's updates kill me sometimes. Last week I sniped a DR Draymond for 1900, I wanted to hold it till it became Amethyst but 2k did a couple of updates after that and he didn't go up so I sold him. Today he goes up and that cost me about another 60-70k...smh.

I am likely to dump the one I have and buy him back when he drops back to gold.

    Anyway...

I balked a Klay and Melo a lot at very low prices. As low as 15k on both. Klay got a 2 point bump so he is up past 50k now. Melo still cheap though....if I see him around 15k or less I probably will pick him up because he eventually is going to rise.

I had chance to jump on Kyrie, glad I didn't, his 3-ball has dropped so I should be able to catch him for cheap this weekend. I would recommend picking him up if you can.

My KAT is paying off. Picked him up for about 1700 months ago. May be time to dump him.

LMA fairly cheap, may grab him because he should increase as well.

Steph is at 97 but I am afraid to dump him because I may want him back. There probably isn't another Diamond I would want to replace him with that I could afford. If I could get good value for him I may do it though, just to have the MT for when the market crashes....plus when he goes back down.

Post any other buy/sell suggestions please.

    Re: DR Buy/Sell Market Advice

I am not sure if it is a good idea or it will work out, but I am giving it a try. I am pretty much buying every single card on the AH of 1 player then reposting them all for higher prices. There are too many current editions of cards for sale so it's too tough to do, but DR cards are much rarer and make it more possible to corner the market.

Today I bought all 3 DR Dieng cards on PS4 AH for 5k and 7k and now I have them posted for 15k-20k.

I also have 10 DR Kyle Lowry cards for sale in the AH right now all ranging from 80-100k. Every time I see someone post one for 50-55k I buy it then repost it for 80-100.

It could backfire having all my eggs in one basket, so many cards of the same player, if it drops in ratings I could potentially take a big hit. But if the card is of a popular enough player and I own enough of them then I am thinking it's possible to control the prices. I am hoping Lowry goes up to amethyst tomorrow and I will hit the jackpot.

The last couple weeks there has been a DR update of roughly 200 cards each Friday, which is making it much more predictable and good for trading.

John Wall should be going back up to Amethyst with the way he's been playing.

I would think so. I got lucky and pulled one right after he got dropped from Amethyst to Gold. Held on to him because the upside was more than downside. If he goes up to Amethyst and price spikes enough, will definitely sell. I don't think a +1 or +2 OVR makes him worth the premium over Current Gold Westbrook (especially on PC). And I already have several Amethyst PG's: Isiah, DPOY Payton, and Current Steph.

All that said, he's shot 11-17 from outside in last 4 games. I could see his Standing 3 going up from 77 to 79 or 80. Which actually would make it hard to part with him.

How much was Wall selling for on ps4 last time he was amethyst?

Wall was selling only around 100 to 110k from what I remember. With allstar packs and the amount of quality pg in the game I don't think he will sell higher than that.

Unless his 3pt rating is in the 80s. Seems any1 with 80+ 3pt shooting, their price skyrockets.

Lowry is a good investment because he will hit Amethyst...so if they don't sell now, they will then. I made a lot off of DR cards. I actually have every card except for about 6. Some bronze are really rare though. I don't have Beasley...I missed him one day for 800. he goes for about 10-15k.

PS4 card prices are more than xb1. I was getting Lowry cards for about 30k. Wall about 60-70k. the time to buy is when they are gold. I want to get some Derozen cards but they have been pricier than I expected.

I bought 3 boxes of dynamics last week, was lucky to get DR wall and DR Griffin. I already sold Blake but I'm still holding on to Wall hoping that he gets back to amethyst before selling. I also have DR whiteside but I don't think he'll go up anymore he's already 98-99 on blocks.

Back on topic: For me, DR cards has always been the most difficult cards to read on the AH. I've earned lots from it, but also busted (big time) from few. Just take extra caution when trying to flip these cards. Just a tip and I don't know why or how, but the most MTs I got from flipping was from bronze DRs.

because if you are sniping, bronze DR's are more common to come by for cheap because casuals don't know their value. its hard to snipe high rated golds or amethysts but those bronze will come around frequently. its funny because there was a bronze card...cant remember which one but he was always around 10-15k. I saw he had been on the AH for a couple of hours, no one touched him. he was like 4k. I bought him and relisted him instantly for like 12k and he sold the moment he relisted. It was a big, maybe Sasha Kaun when he was rare. I did it with Christian Wood and Montrezl Harrell before too.

people mostly look at auctions that just listed or are just about to close. sometimes valuable ones are sitting there in between those times.

This is true, found Lowry at 23 hours for 17k and a badged up klay for 22k this week. I'm from Toronto and man I wanna keep the Lowry, but he would be a nice flip though.

Atm I have 10 DR Lowrys and 3 DR Derozans. All 10 Lowrys were bought for under 55k and the Derozans, one was bought for 40k and the other 2 for 60k.

Currently I see Lowry's listed anywhere from 60-120k and Derozans for around 70k. Hopefully they both go up tomorrow and then I can sell all 13 of them for a nice profit.

Edit: Make that 11 Lowry's, just got another for 54k.

wow. I have been meaning to get up on gold DR's. its so much other stuff that I have been looking for though...but I don't have a DR Klay so I really would like to get him.

wondering if I should pick up some Butler's. he is in the mid-high 30's on xb1. a lot cheaper than PG13 who has the same overall rating.

Funny thing...I have a feeling someone read this post cuz a couple hours back someone cleared out TBT Calderon from the market and re-listed them for 25-30k (they were ranging around 4-5k before) haha.

Commend the effort but i dont think that will work. Its way too high of a bump

yeah, probably. was looking at Calderon this morn, only because I don't have him. lowest I saw was around 4k but I think I can catch him even cheaper.

anyway...picked up Uncle Drew this morn for 9k
