How you guys feel about post shots?

A week ago i was reading everyone was complaining you couldn't hit post shots. Tonight i noticed a guy hit about 5-6 shots in a row on the park.

Didn't wanna have a knee jerk reaction and come in screaming the game is broken so i figured i would ask.

a fully contested post fade in the park from my 7.3C is more reliable than an open midrange from my 6.1pg

You're completely right. There's something wrong with that.

Dirks post fade is AUTOMATIC. I've seen inside centers drill 3's with that post fade equipped. It's crazy

I'm assuming you mean in the park?

That post shot over the shoulder has been pretty reliable since launch.

With outside SF i never miss midrange jumpshots, so does my friend with balanced sg. Midrange is easy mode in park and as long as u get good look. You can't miss with 75+ rating and if u add shot creator + fade ace u can nail contested fading and turn around shots all day as well.

            MyPark is on arcade difficulty/sliders.

Since Patch i can't hit any Hookshot anymore with the Gasols or other good Post Big Men, does'nt matter if a good defender is on them or not

Outside the park, especially at MT and PNO i find the post fade is bretty balanced. If you manually contest it well with the right stick its a F grade and will brick right into the hands of the defender.

I'm having trouble doing the over the shoulder. My guy does it the wrong way sometimes. It could be user error but it's happening a good bit

How are you setting it up? Because I'm cash with certain players. I only ask because are you just getting the ball and then doing a fade away. Or are you backing down a few times? And then fading away.

Because I've been using Dirk, Hordford/Millsap and Z-Bo/Gasol. But these guys are really good at fade away jumpers. I'm pretty sure they have the badges. But just last night. I was posting up with Horford from about 20 feet on a small player in my league (with the shot clock running down). And I did a pump fake and then did my fade away it was cash. But I also got a F for quality lol.

Re: How you guys feel about post shots?

My buddy is a fully maxed defense center 7'3 and dude would catch the ball, back up to mid and just face up and cash. We even rotated over and nothing either. I just wish there wasn't a 100% guaranteed shot in this game. Dirk is my favorite player and he was only ever about 60% with his post fade. You saw him make it a lot, but it was never 100%.

It's always too extreme with this game. Something either never works or is too effective.

I'm not talking about missing lol . I'm literally fading the wrong way. Sometimes I fade left instead of right

I use the shot button + LS direction because the stick has caused me to go the wrong way before too, lol

I'm guessing you don't have Patch 3 yet.
