Older 2K Gamers?

I was playing a few Park games the other night and something funny happened. I'm hooping with one of my regular squad buddies when this random guy burst into the party chat. He was initially looking for someone by their first name, which puzzled most of us. Long story short, it was father of my squad buddy challenging all of us to play 3v3 with his friends! After the son left the party in frustration, we squaded up with his pops and went on a 15 game win streak.

So on to my question: How old are most 2k gamers? I'm wondering if there are any older vets out there like myself or is the 2K community mostly consisting of teenagers? As for myself, I was a kid when I played the first 2K basketball (Dreamcast). I didn't play heavily again until I came back to the series with 2K15.

EDIT: My first bball video game I ever played & owned was Bulls vs Blazers on SNES! Where the crowd actually BOOed and u could hear sneakers squeeking lol.

Ahh....we're in the same ballpark. I'm 34. Switched over to the original 2k after being one of the original NBA Live '95 O.G.s lol

Do you remember Bulls vs. Lakers tho?

I know the question was directed at me but I remember Bulls vs. Lakers. Came a long way from Double Dribble. Lol. The first basketball game I owned was Dr. J vs. Larry Bird on Atari. Lmao!

30. Been playing 2K since 2K11. Before that been playing Live since Live 96. Missed a lot of the mid 2000s.

Same here. I missed 2k1-14 but I dabbled a bit in 2K7, 2K10 and 2K14. I didn't feel like the game modes and player models were attractive enough to come back until PS4/Xbox One hit the scene. Addicted all over again.
