What happened to Be an NHL Pro mode?

I know they have NHL Be A Pro Mode where you can create your own player from scratch, but I used to like the mode where you could be an existing player, like Claude Giroux. I can't seem to find that mode anywhere which is a real bummer.

They, most likely, decided that the mode wasn't super popular. They do still have the option of player lock. The series is still trying to get game modes/features back from the ps3 era(viewing team rosters in EASHL). Maybe next year.

My favorite "solo" game mode ever at any sports title. Hopefully they'll bring it back because Position lock is not the same as you'll have to play shifts with other same position players too. I just loved to play with (slow but smooth) Leino at Sabres 3rd line center with some random PP time, waiting for my time to have impact.

This and Winter Classic are the modes I would like to see in future releases.

I would love to see a total overhaul of the whole mode. I would also like to to have more control with regards to what I can and cannot edit on my player. It's pretty stupid that you get stuck with whatever number that they give you.

They need to increase the immersion factor like NBA2K does. It is pretty stupid that when you play your first game in the NHL they don't even mention it if there is another rookie playing. Also, there is no mention of your play even if you are tearing the league a new one as a 19 year old rookie. I would also like to see things like player interviews....not that lame **** they did in "live the life". I would like to see more control with regards to contracts...you should not be forced to sign your entry level deal if you have no interest in doing so. Oh...and requesting a friggin trade would nice.

If they don't cater to the paying fan, the one who shells out $63 on the game every year, who do they cater to then?

I do play with the player lock but I don't like it as much because I always have to worry about which handed shooter my guy is, where if I play as the same guy, I know he's a righty or lefty and I can adjust accordingly after receiving the puck.

I liked playing as young players my team (Flyers) has stashed in juniors or the AHL.

The other paying fans (aka the majority) who couldn't care less about the mode's exclusion.

HUT HUT HUT HUT and HUT. Check their twitter and facebook. After the first promos when the games come out is it strategies they post? Maybe some of the best teams to play with in Be-A-GM? An EASHL team of the month? Nope. It's all about that HUT. No offline.
