Blocks are ridiculous!

So everyone is a shot blocker now? U know It's ridiculous online when Ricky Rubio is blocking dunks. Other notables is Marco Belini blocked Igudola's dunk last night. I know kevin love is a big but should he really be swatting balls in the stands??? Last I check love wasn't much of a defender nor was he swatting balls all over the place.

I think the blocks are nice but needs to be tuned as non-shot blockers are blocking things they shouldnt.

i had 3 blocks my last game as a point guard. one was from behind the player shooting was able to block the shot, the 2nd one came i was running back while the guy was lobbing up a layup and the 3rd came from blocking a big under the basket

I rather have a lot of blocks then no blocks in the game. Only time I get blocked is if i'm putting up a bad shot.

Or took a shot that I thought I was going to get it off the glass in time, lol. I LOVE it when I block someone's shot off the glass, but HATE it when someone does it to me, lol.

The advantage that length gives you is huge this year. There are a number of shots I'm used to getting off in iso situations that I got smashed because I didn't take it into consideration.

I think blocks are fine. My only problem seems to be times where I'm driving into the basket, I get the contact I want for a foul, but instead I get a shot blocked with no call. It's not the worst thing in the world, but it can be frustrating when the other team is on a run and you're just trying to buy a basket.

I do agree that more blocks is good but come on people. Way to many blocks by players without the ability to block. Ive seen JJ Reddick block so many dunks since early release.

What they do need is a Give up/Let em have it rating.

Im glad that it may be slightly too easy for the User to block in some situations.

Overall, CPU big man still need to be more aggressive with their block attempts, but they have made massive improvements.

It's an answer to video game offense and a necessary evil at that, plus, it's hella exciting to get emphatic blocks

Blocking needs to take a sharp decrease in success below the 90 rating....i love the new system tho.

I swear to everything that is holy, blocks better not get touched. They are already butchering the midrange game, we don't need defense to be touched. AT ALL.

I think they are fine. Do you really want to go back to when balls would just phase through people's hands?

It doesn't matter who is blocking the ball. If my player touches the ball, I expect the ball to be knocked out (unless they have excellent driving lay-up/dunk and can power through a block).

It is now necessary to learn how to finish the ball away from a defender closing in on you. You can't just force up a lay-up with Parker against a 7ft+ center and expect things to go well.
