    NBA 2K16 Official MyCAREER Thread

    Alright guys,

We've got a lot of info now on the mode, and a lot of people will have it come Friday. So, it's time to start up our yearly post describing your character's attributes, goals and sharing your story.

Let's have some fun this year.

I'm planning on making a 6'3 185 lbs Balanced PG that's has a pass first mindset. Stuck between going to Louisville or Georgetown (I guess it will depend on who makes the best pitch and what my "parents" think lol).

Once I hit the league, gonna focus on drills and getting his attributes up first. Endorsements will come with winning and improving. Taking the Steph Curry approach.

Before I make it though, got to figure out who should hang with him while he's "livin' da dream." Can't have people messing with his workout time.

Alright, tell us your story and

    Let's Get It!

I'm making a 6'6 balanced SG/PG then a 6'7 outside scoring SF. I hope my 10k VC can at least get me to 64 overall.

Oh yea I'm ready. I don't know if I should go after Stockton's all-time assist record since my assists couldn't go past 10,360 in 2K15. May go big and try to break some big man records. Already surpassed Kareem's all-time scoring record in 2k14, so I have no interest in that anymore.

6'6 SG. Vince Carter-esque. Choosing between UCLA, UConn, Georgetown, Arizona, and Villanova. Gonna be what everybody thought OJ Mayo would be and then more!

Re: NBA 2K16 Official MyCAREER Thread

Every year since MyPlayer started back in 2K(10?) I pick a 7 Foot center that does the dirty work because I know they were hard to find in Pickup/Park.

Then I eventually create a passing PG that only shoots if absolutely necessary because it's hard to find also online, because everyone wants theirs.

This year I want to finally shine and am going with something different. Either a 6-6/6-7 sharpshooting/athletic SG who is looking to score a lot, but efficiently taking good shots. Still gonna play the right way and look for teammates, but this time I'm taking the last shot!

6'10 lightweight PF. All about footwork and speed in the post, as the years come by I want to develop a decent midrange jumper. Defense will be Noel-esque, to weak in the post the first years, but able to switch at the perimeters if necessary. Those weakside blocks though.

As usual, I'll make 6'2'', 200 lbs, balanced PG. I don't know much about College teams, so I'll go to UCLA since it's the closer to the Lakers, which is my favourite team. Later on, I might make a 7', 250lbs C, inside or balanced.

Ideally, a 6'4" point guard, athletic finisher (he's got hops, dunks often) with a good midrange game and good vision. Swiss army knife guy, above average defender (opportunistic type), leader of men on the floor.

We'll see if 2K lets me make him.

My usual 6'8 small forward. Stuck between balanced and inside scorer. I wanna be a LeBron type player but the playmaker and athlete caps might make that a little difficult.

Then a 6'3 point guard, sharpshooter in a Curry/Irving mould.

Maybe later on a 6'11 PF/C sort of like Boogie to just be a dominating force down low.

6'4 point guard more than likely depends on caps if I dont lke that I will make a 6'3 point Balance al lthe way probably I dont care about dunking I just want to shoot somewhat and lay the ball up but I play pass first.
