Where did this go?

I have looked all over FIFA 16 and cannot find this mode.

Each week EA put out 6 real world matchups that let you recreate history.

Say Liverpool scored 3 on Swansea in the 2nd half to win 3-2.

Your task was to start the 2nd half down 2 and score the 3 goals.

Where did this go?

That's missing and I cannot start a match from the match day live screen anymore. What gives?

Could just be a first week/launch thing. Might get up and running in the coming weeks?

I hope so. I asked the guy on the phone when EA helped called me back and he said it's in the game under the online tab then you choose single player.

Of course this doesn't exist.

Just hoping it did not go the way of the practice mode, I have a feeling the womens team portion took the place of weekly matches...I hope not, I am sick of losing modes in current gen console gaming.

I'm disappointed about this too, I can't play like I used to in the past so I really enjoyed this few challenges and it also allowed me to expand from the usual teams. I don't think it's going to show up, maybe they use the news section? Don't really see it working

This is weird as EA assures me it is there... But I look and see nothing, so I look again.. I have used there online chat thing on the website and asked four times. All reps say it is there under the online tab.

I have a feeling that maybe it is there and just none active this first week... Maybe the right stick will move a screen when it comes up. Or possibly could have it's own space and a filler is there until they get it going.

Like others I hope so..

Best FIFA yet but I hope they kept this it was pretty cool.

Yeah the rep told me that same thing, look under single player on the online tab.

There is no such thing/tile/selection.

I called again and got a nice indian woman rep on the phone. She was hard to understand because she said so many words to say something simple. She was nice though. She put me on hold after I told her about the missing feature and when she came back she spoke about 20 sentences about patchings and understandings and missing and so on.

I finally stopped her and asked "so what you are saying is, this feature is missing right now and the devs are aware and in the process of fixing it for the next patch?"

She said yes that is it.

I said thank you, because what else can you say? It's not her fault.

The problem is, if there is a day one patch there is a slim to none chance this is fixed in that patch, so if it's in the next patch we could be looking at 3-6 weeks at the earliest?

I mean we still have legacy issues like unlocking the transfer list increase in the catalog not working and no practice mode.

One plus, last year once you got out of the default items in the catalog (which you could all safely gift another user) any added items to the catalog would fail to be given as gifts (oh but the coins would go away for sure )

Anyway, I have successfully gifted the UA boots that were added to the catalog.

But back on topic, I sure miss the Highlights of the Week. It's a great way to check out teams you might not ever select on your own.

There's no practice mode? I was just playing in the practice arena a bit but didn't bother to try my hand at set pieces, practice games etc. What a bummer.

Yep no practice mode, team wise.

Only practice you can do is that 1v1 using that cam you rarely if ever use in a real game.

It's so much better to have the team practice where you can use your own camera settings to work on any aspect of the game you felt you needed to work on.

It was in FIFA 14 next gen.

What they did was for FIFA 15 they put the Next Music track on the same button that you would use to access the practice match options so instead of going in there you skip to the next track.

Even though I have contacted EA help repeatedly about this and also posted it and kept it at the top of the Beta forum a month ago, it still goes unaddressed.

I guess they care more about skipping music tracks than giving us access to the practice mode THAT IS ON THE DISC.

Another thing they removed is the ability to play the next real fixture of any team, now you can only play the next fixture of the team you chose, nothing else.

Yes, yes, yes.

This was a really cool thing.

You could go browse the match news and come across a matchup and think oh yeah, this looks good, and easily fire off the match.

This was one of those features that made me think they actually cared for what is happening in the football world.

It's like all of the modes that revolve around happenings in the real sport were cut. For no reason.

I mean if these things were cut to add the womens teams it still would make no sense.

I really miss this feature. I'd play the challenges to earn a nice chunk of XP & FCC, and the featured matches were my go-to play now option. I guess once I get into a career it won't be so bad, but I liked having a few good matches right there for me to choose from. No thinking required!
