Would like a demo, but I can understand this from a resource allocation point of view. The beta is a pretty robust and revealing demo—just happens to be a mode I'm not really interested in.

I was expecting something along those lines, and to be honest, it does make sense. The fact that we get full length games on an unreleased game/engine for an entire week, I think that makes up for a missing demo.

Even if you don't play EASHL, couldn't hurt to at least try it and test out the new game early.

I can't fault EA on this one. They made a demo for 15 and sales went down. This time they're trying to get their hardcore fans that bought the game to convince the rest of us that things are better and to come back. That and reward them for buying last year.

Pretty shrewd business move if you ask me. I don't think it will change many people's approach to the game though. And yes it would have helped my decision process if they would have let me try it myself.

Yeah this really makes me want to purchase the game now. Definitely not gonna buy for at least a few months, if I ever do buy.
