    Old Game Studs

Alright Bo Jackson is the ultimate example, but who else was a beast in the old sports games?

I remember playing Big Hurt Baseball on gameboy and Jeffrey Hammonds of all guys was unstoppable. Tim Hardaway was unguardable on Tecmo Basketball.

Who else did you guys dominate with in the old games? Especially random guys

Any really good 3-point shooter on NBA Live '95 for SNES. One of my best friends was a huge Reggie Miller fan, and he would exclusively work until he got a 3 off. Shooters of his caliber would easily nail 75% or more.

Such a classic game! I was always money with the 3 ball with Mitch Richmond and Mark Price.

Worth on Texas in Bases Loaded 2 was always a stud for me.

Vince Coleman on RBI Baseball. Hit the ball on the ground anywhere and it was a base hit. Steal second and third every time. Pretty sure he was as fast as a Nolan ryan fastball so if you timed the jump right stealing home wasn't out of the question.

Not old, but random: Geoff Sanderson scored 97 goals in a season for me on NHL 2k7. The way he was built was just conducive to scoring in that game, for me. There were plenty of players higher rated, but he just skated and shot so smooth for me.

Sean Casey on MVP 05 was a big time power hitter for me despite being more an average guy in real life. In my last season, it disappeared... in the process of replacing him with some prospect. It's a business!

The two that come to mind for me:

Arkansas in Coach K College Basketball. Literally all I had to do to win was take the point guard, turbo down the floor, and shoot a running 3 at the top of the arc fading towards the basket. It was far more effective than it should have been.

David Robinson in NBA JAM. At some point while I was playing this game I got really really good at timing shot block attempts, so I'd finish every game with a triple-double in points, rebounds, and blocks.

On the opposite side of the spectrum - regardless of the game in question, I could never not be terrible playing as Brett Favre in any football game.

Ken Griffey Jr. in Ken Griffey Jr. Slugfest...I remember finding a cheat online that if you input when Griffey was up, if you got in before the pitch was thrown it was a HR every time you made contact. So that has to the guy for me. Or Code Superhuman from the same game. He was a guy you unlocked after completed a season and had a 100 ovr.

Emmitt Smith in Madden '94. HB Inside could go for 30-40 yards or more every time. He was unstoppable.

Reggie Bush was a machine in NCAA Football 06.

I remember Ruud van Nistelrooy being a legend for me in FIFA 2004, after I stole him from Man U. Good times...
Thierry Henry was unstoppable that year, too.

Any kicker/punter when slotted in at QB - Mike Ditka Power Football (Genesis)

Seriously. The game didn't distinguish between throwing and kicking power/accuracy, and kickers tended to have much higher power/accuracy than QBs. Discovered this when playing my brother, down with time for just one more hail mary and I decided to look at my QBs just to make sure one didn't have more power to chuck it down field. Saw that my kicker was like 99/99 and put him in, he chucked the ball 80 yards for the win. That game was never played again.

Erik Kiss in Triple Play 2000 and 2001.

Being the most "normal" out of all the players on the Dream Team, he would almost always hit the ball over 800 ft.
