Haven't owned him yet but I bet you could take him for a ride in a few exhibition games. Put it on the difficulty you play at on DD and then do Player Lock on Tulo and you'll just take his AB's (you can turn off fielding if you want). Get a feel for him

Ian Desmond is a cheap version of Tulo

Have you considered completing the Cubs collection to get Ernie Banks? It's cheaper than getting Tulo.

I just was really interested because of the high contact and decent power if tulo. I'll have to check banks stats for hitting

He's excellent when you get the bat on the ball. Plenty of power.

The problem lies in his batting stance. He's all over the plate so it's easy to jam him.

I've used him for a handful of games and he's been playing well for me. Awesome arm strength and hits the ball hard, just no hrs yet.

I had Desmond and recently purchased Tulo after selling a lot of my players. Tulo has great power to all fields and his arm strength is amazing. Desmond was a good player, Tulo is a great player. If you have the stubs, there is no better SS on the game IMO.

                  Thanks for this!

I was on the fence about Tulo. But this makes me feel comfortable with the potential of picking him up.

I put my created DD player at SS knowing that's probably the most valuable position in the infield. Got him to about 99 everything except power so I don't have to spend big bucks on the infield.

I played 1 game with Tulo last night, and his first 2 at bats he homered to opposite field for 2 runs, and then hit a hard single through the gap the next time. The ball just flies off his bat.

After I'm done flipping cards and reach my eventual goal of like 300k stubs, I'm probably gonna want to get a Tulo to keep lol

I am up to 137k and am extremely tempted to just spend it all on Trout and Tulo to complete my fielding roster!

But that essentially puts me down to less than 10k, which is difficult to start flipping cards with since the profits are so marginal.

My goal is to get a few hundred thousand stubs and then spend half on packs, half on players.

I love opening packs, but I've had really crap luck with them so far, so I want to a) be able to open a huge amount of them at once, and b)have the stubs left over to buy a few stud players if the packs fail to land me anything good once again.
