    No-Hitters?

Has anyone thrown a no-hitter? I have taken a no-no into the 7th inning twice now and actually ended up losing both games. I'm just curious if people are actually able to pull this off?

I have taken multiple ones into the 8th inning but have yet to get a No Hitter in all my years playing the Show.

          Re: No-Hitters?

In the many years I've played The Show, I only remember throwing 2 no-hitters. One with my RttS pitcher, and one in MLB 12 with CJ Wilson (I think, can't remember 100% for sure if it was him, but pretty sure it was in my Angels franchise)

This is the first year I was able to finish one!

Well it's good to see some people have pulled it off and others never have even after years of play. I guess that makes it more authentic. It also makes it more intense when you get to the 7th 8th and 9th innings with one going, knowing at any moment it could end, or you could actually make it happen.

                Re: No-Hitters?

I've taken a few deep, but I've only had one no-hitter in seven years of the Show. It was a Spring Training Diamond Dynasty game where I was playing against the Chicago Cubs. The pitcher was a DD player named Buckeye Cooper (I kind of modeled him after Satchel Page). One of my greatest moments in the game.

Pitched a couple of perfect games on "The Show: '08" with my RttS player.

                    Re: No-Hitters?

I've had 2 Perfect Games at 26 outs and lost both on the 27th. One was a swinging bunt (man, I was PISSED), and the other was a clean single. Lost another No-Hitter with 1 out in the 9th.

I'm resigned to the fact that it's just not gonna happen for me.

                      Re: No-Hitters?

I pitched 1 no-hitter with an rtts guy this year. Pitched a no-hitter against my dad with CC on first game of my ps3. Never pitched a perfect game.

Took one with Bumgarner into the 8th earlier today. Probably the closest I have come. Had it perfect into the 7th before an error. Scored a lot of runs early in the game so was pitching to contact a lot so I was suprised I took the no no as far as I did. Once I realized it was still going in the 6th I pitched less to contact... ProbAbly started the down fall lol

I have yet to pitch a No Hitter. I have came close acouple times but someone always ends up getting a hit. Usually it's right after the broadcaster says "I'm surely jinxing things here..." And I'm like yup you sure are!

                            No-Hitters?

Pitched 1 no hitter with CC last year. First no hitter I've thrown in a baseball game since World Series Baseball 98 with Roger Clemens lol

Last out was a grounder under the diving glove of the 3B. SS fielded it deep in the hole and got the runner by a millisecond. I've got the video saved on Share, I'll try and figure out how to post it.

Dang. Ugly is putting that nicely. Ha.

Intentionally walking Puig and putting the tying run in scoring position...? Wow.

And I think after you walk in a run it's time to pull the plug, no-hitter or not. But whatever, you pulled it off. Amazingly.
