Throwing the fade

I am having problems near the goal line throwing the fade. I audible to it and then i just tap the button to that receiver. He is 6'7 and his jumping ability is 90+. I just cant seem to complete this. I have completed it by holding the button down longer from time to time. I have yet to find some consistency with completing or giving my player the opportunity(animation kicks in) to catch it.

Any suggestions?

Try also pressing "up" on the left stick to get more air under the pass while still tapping the desired receivers icon button. I don't run the fade a lot but when I do this works for me.

Wait long enough for the receiver to get separaton. If you just press it as soon as you hike it, the CB is in perfect position to break up the play.

Wait for the WR to do his move and begin to cut outside. Then tap it and the computer takes care of the rest.

Like the CPU control the WR. He will jump for it. All you have to worry about is throwing it at the right time.

The best thing I found for the fade was to hold the left stick to the side you're throwing to i.e. for a fade to the right, hold the left stick right

Hold the left stick to the inside and throw a bullet.
