Need help remembering a PC baseball game
Probably a year or two ago, I know that some people on here were talking about a PC (Maybe DOS) baseball game where you could play in different eras. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I believe it was 2D sprite-based.Rooting for: Pittsburgh Pirates, Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Chelsea FC, #18 Kyle Busch, #2 Brad KeselowskiTags: None -

I think I found it. It's call Old Time Baseball. It looks like it's hard to find online though. I'd love to play it.Rooting for: Pittsburgh Pirates, Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Chelsea FC, #18 Kyle Busch, #2 Brad KeselowskiComment

Re: Need help remembering a PC baseball game
JUST, you say. It was so much more than that to true baseball nuts like myself. It featured over 100 years' worth of baseball teams, over 12,000 players, classic parks like Ebbets (!) and the Polo Grounds, AND you could pick between Mel Allen and Curt Gowdy to do the play by play.
Sorry, but to say it was just TL 2 with different players and parks is not giving full credit to such a great game. I had all the TL editions and none got the gameplay from me that this one did!
Edit: Actually now that I'm thinking about it, I believe it was actually based off Tony LaRussa 3 instead of 2.Last edited by Joey; 01-19-2015, 11:49 AM.Comment

It was based off of LaRussa 3. I had LaRussa 3 and Old Time Baseball. The amount of customization you could do with those games was incredible. You could import teams and players from Old Time Baseball to Tony LaRussa and vice versa. I spent many many hours playing these games.Comment
