    Mixing RTTS With Dynasty?

    Has anyone every tried this?

My thought was create your guy in RTTS copy his attributes then create him in a dynasty. Only hit/field with him. Then you can be controlling just one player in his career while building a team like a manager.

I've thought of this because I've seen people saying that the supersim in RTTS is kinda off, and that it was a lot better in Dynasty Mode.

Has anyone ever done this, if so, how did you like? Positives? Negatives?

You can already do this by importing your customized player into a roster and start season/franchise with it. You can then use player lock to only control your player.

I know, that's exactly what I was saying. I'm just asking people who have done this if they like it or not, or if there was something that didn't make it as fun as they thought it would be.

I used to create a player and put him on my team before going into franchise mode. It's definitely more interesting than RTTS in my opinion, because RTTS kind of minimizes the importance of your team, which takes away the immersion/excitement factor I feel like I'm just in a bubble playing baseball in RTTS mode. Nothing I do really matters, nothing my team does really matters.

So creating a player and using him in franchise mode is definitely something I find to be more interesting, and I like being able to have my guy but still be able to play as everyone.

I have never tried the player lock aspect though. I hadn't even thought about combining player lock with a created player. I will have to give that a shot.

I think I'm going to give it a shot as well. If you do, let me know if you enjoyed it more or less than playing with the whole team!

Using the player lock is the only way I play the game. I use a created player.

If you haven't tried it before here are some things you'll have to get used to.

If you have the settings set on result play then get ready for 2 strike bunts. If the bases are loaded with 2 outs in the bottom of ninth the AI will bunt. it happens all the time. Even if you move your defense to stop the bunt you'll still see a bunt.

Also the AI pitching changes are awful. Even with the sliders tuned all the way way to the right for the AI to make pitching changes sooner you'll still see pitchers throwing 140 pitches in a game on occassion. And not just ACE pitchers like Kershaw. You'll see 18 year old pitchers in the minors doing it as well.

Other than that the player lock is a awesome feature and I hope it will return to MLB 15 the Show. My franchise depends on it.

This seems cool to do, how do you import your RTTS player into the franchise? I don't see how it can be done.

              Thanks

You can't import a RTTS player into franchise. You have to create a player and save that roster. Then you load that roster when you start a franchise.
